I know that...but they only have 4 players left to actually pick right? The last remaining slot goes to the winner of some tournament Or did they change that?
50 players go into the group stage. Top 3 from each group go into the ro16 (15 players). The 16th player comes from the open tournament

oooohhhhhhhhhhhh...my bad. Then there are still five slots left if I can count right (looking at the list on their site). So that means there is room for FIVE top koreans still.
Kellymilkies is live right now with the Foreigner House, talking with Sen right now
Morrow is apparently training with Squirtle for the upcoming matchup :O :O
Wow I had to turn that off, she giggles way too much. Her english isn't terrible, really good compared to most Koreans but it sounds like she has a bit of an Australian accent or something, kind of annoying.
Now I would love to offend Australians and tell them that I hate their accent, but I don't. Rescuers Down Under assured that I wouldn't, but I do hate her hybrid accent.

and the fact that 'really good compared to most Singaporeans' doesn't really apply either
it technically is aimed towards brood war, but really, its quite broad in most parts and can be applied to sc2 as well
a lot of it seems like just rehashing what people have said before, but i think its always nice to have the words on paper in front of you to understand the importance of them

apparently Sen eats a chicken chop before each tournament. the livestream audience kept asking about the chicken dish, and Sen said to kelly to ignore them
So this is how I've been opening PvZ for the past few days.
Basically it's a 3gate expo into quick Dark Templar.
My win ratio in PvZ with it is around 76% (<3 SC2 gears). The reason I really like it is that it's based off of the standard macro 3 gate expand build, but has a little bit of a lemon-lime twist that helps balance out the fact that it's standard for Zerg players to be 15 workers ahead during the mid game.
Tell me what you guys think! If there's any interest, I can upload a replay pack.
I can't seem to win any games, I feel like I am doing okay. I feel like I am doing well for my experience level and league but I just can't win. Is it my macro? I thought my macro was okay.

i'm really not in the position to be criticizing these games too closely, as honestly they could be me playing
but two things that stuck out to me as little easy tweaks you can make to your play
1) early on, you often delay your first zealot to about when the cycore was done, or right as it finished
(this might be up to debate, however, someone clarify for me if i am wrong)
if you want to get an early zealot out, you should get it pretty close to when you start your cycore (and you had the money to start it earlier) -- otherwise you were just delaying your first stalker, which is pretty key to getting scouts out of your base (although in one of the games your opponent didn't even scout you)
2) whenever your colossus den finishes, instead of slamming out a colossus first thing, you always went for the lance upgrade first
if you are getting colossus, while getting the upgrade should happen pretty quickly, your priority is to start your colossus production asap and for as long as it stands to reason
yet again, these were just two things that stood out to me on the detail level that probably didn't determine these games (although i feel like the colossus thing had some bearing), just wanted to get that out there

I watched the first game and took a bunch of notes. Check the spoiler to read them. Overall, your macro wasn't what killed you (but it wasn't exceptional). You need to be better about controlling your army, moreso how to position them before engagements.
enemies can't spawn vertical from you on Shakuras plateau. Never scout the top base ever again.
Your second pylon is late. throw it down on 16, but more specifically, throw it down when you hit 100 minerals after you queue the 16th probe.
You don't spend your chronoboost efficiently early game. And by efficiently, I mean "at all". Spend it! You should have those first 5 or so chronoboosts planned out. For instance, when warp gate finishes, you have two units done. You could have had a whole extra unit if you'd used chrono!
You don't get any sentries in the early game. This is when you want them, so you can stockpile energy and forcefield away scary all ins.
You scout his early thor push really early. Admittedly, this isn't something easy to hold off. Personally, if I saw SCV's coming with it, I'd cancel my expo, cut probe production and chrono units out of my gateways immediately. You want more zealots than stalkers at this point.
Lucky for you, he doesn't attack right away. But you're in no position to go trying to kill him at this point. you lose your army because A) you built the wrong units, (zealots are much more efficient vs early thors) and you attacked from the worst possible angle. You shouldn't have been thinking about attacking at all. You had an expo, and should have held back to defend it while teching. (think of it this way, your opponent is way ahead in tech, but behind in econ. How do you push your advantage while abusing his? Defend his tech heavy attack and hold your expo.)
Your macro slips at around 10:00 and you throw down a whole bunch of buildings at once. And you keep building tons of stalkers.
You start to get supply blocked a lot past 100 food.
When the big fight happens, you again attack in the worst possible way imaginable. Zealots + immortal in rear, stalkers blocking the front. You knew his push was coming because you scouted it with your observer, you need to NEED to rearrange your army so that your zealots are in front and your stalkers are in a concave. You can't just haphazardly throw your ball at the enemy.
even though your unit composition SUCKED you probably could have won that battle had your army been better positioned. And then, to top it all off, when his thors are killing your base alone, YOU WARP IN MORE STALKERS AGHHGHJ
Big things to take away from this,
1. Your army positioning sucks dick.
2. You built the wrong units.
3. Your army positioning was as bad as it could have been.
4. You don't respond appropriately to what you see. Remember, there are three balancing forces in Starcraft 2. Army size, Economy, and Tech. To rush ahead in one means to sacrifice in the others. You see your opponent open with a thor (tech!) opening, and then you try and attack him before securing a lead in econ or army size.
I hope this wasn't too harsh, your macro was actually fairly consistent. It could improve (chronoboost you piece of shit agghgfhj) but in general that's not your main problem.
Again, don't scout vertically on Shakuras. You will never find an enemy base there.

also, this is old, but it just resurfaced to me, here's a really well written strategy towards improving that someone on tl made about 9 months ago
