I feel so bad for all the out of towners who are at MLG right now. If it sucks for us at home imagine if you spent time&money to go out there and have all this (not) happen.

I suck so much at this game dudes.
I put my barracks at the dudes natural, I go up with marines and he has one stalker and two gateways. I kill stalker, I kill pylon powering gateway (1 of 2). Another stalker says hi, I hunt it but he is too fast. I go back to killing last pylon but am scared off by a second stalker.
I go down and wait I think, about four, production cycles and go up again. He now has 8+ stalkers and four gateways running off 5 pylons.
I could have easily killed the last pylon preventing him from making any units at all. But I did not. It surprises me however that a guy can in what felt like less than two minutes go from zero to above me in units.
Edit: And of course I didn't only have one barracks, I built more throughout and constantly pumped rines.
Maybe also allow factories to fire missiles at ground units.
no no no, let's not get silly here.
just let them land on top of units, squishing them if they don't move out of the way.
you could also kamikaze them into other buildings
Squish attack would seriously be great.
Silly: Self Destructing buildings that are equal to the nuke. Imagine a fleet of terran buildings floating slowly towards an enemy base before landing/squashing around your mineral line and production facilities and suddenly everything is mushroom clouds and win.
For all the complaints about b.net at events like this, I've almost never had any problems with battle.net. At PAXEast the connection to battle.net went down... but so did every other connection to the internet because it couldn't handle 30k attempts to access the wifi at once. The GSL has had like one lost connection to b.net ever. LAN would be nice but assuming the problems are battle.net problems given the bandwidth issues MLG has had is probably jumping the gun
i mean, i overreacted to 2 banshees by being crazy passive even though i had some stalkers and obs at each base in case they came back, and allowed him to mass up tanks and vikings against my piddly colo tech
feel like i should have been aggressive in some form, drops or something
ill upload the replay so i can be shamed, my macro was le bad and so was my decisionmaking
I haven't played since around GSL Pre-season #3, folks. I'm a terran plat, and I lose like nobody's business. Any suggestions? I'm so out of it, no idea what the metagame is like. Loaded up Shakuras, and about 5 seconds too late went "Holy shit, I could actually use Reapers right now.

???????
Back when the game had just come out and people didn't know how to play.
I think cloak would be even better
Yes. I had a few years to make corruptor/ling/bane/infestor before the BC/marine army could cross the map.
*shudders*

maybe use drops against the toss?

technical difficulties that are overlapping with their scheduled break until night casting i think
wasnt the break going to be around 500?

According to the schedule they have games going straight through until 10pm.
But idn if there's a break where they plan to go without casting for a few hours or something like that.

Any reason we can't get games from the places they are actually being played streamed? :P.

Does this mean they are going to start showing games?
Why aren't they showing us that?
Because MLG is a trainwreck.
Given the value of spending $10 on four matches, or $25 for three months of matches, I think I've found my preferred bargain
Because no one watches Halo?
Oh shiiiiiiii
