More of a perennial lurker than an actual forumite, but I'd feel rather silly missing out now that I actually live in Seattle. Hope there are some other locals around and about, I've been out of the country for years now so I feel almost like an immigrant anymore!
OP updated with an FAQ, links to the threads from previous years (check out the reactions at the end of the thread), and some clarification on what, exactly, this is.
19 tickets sold in one day. If we keep up this pace we'll be sold out by the middle of July.

Tickets get! And a raffle donation! (Any particular reason there's a surcharge on the raffle piece?)
It's the EventBrite processing fee.
Thanks, I was just curious why it was tacked on to the raffle and not the tickets. I are easily confused. Not that it stopped me from getting my tickets...

Damn, tickets had to go on sale right after rent and utilities got paid. Have to wait till next check.
I'll be buying in a week from today.
Whilst I'll miss the more exotic beers available at the TapHouse. All you can play billiard, darts, and 12 big ass screens for console action will be more than enough awesome.

I have a short list of people who have volunteered to help hand things out, check people in, etc. I'll put you on that list and let you know if I have any need you'd be suited to fill.
I'm on that list right? You know me. I'm always down for some volunteering.
I should also be on the "will help Arco make the awesome" list.

Yup, you're both on it. Honestly I have way more people offering to help than I really need, which is awesome. With 250 people it will definitely come in handy.

I think you may be looking at this the wrong way. You have minions. No such thing as too many minions!
I just ask because the first year the TapHouse had trouble keeping up, but it was ironed out last year. Given that this place is further, I'm just trying to gauge if we should make sure to eat before arriving.

I'll be sure to clarify this with the event coordinator, Stephanie. I think regular people vastly underestimate the veracity at which nerds consume finger foods.

This place looks awesome, I'm surprised I haven't been there before. I'll totally be there, I won't be able to buy my ticket for a few days though. I'll drag my team along too and let my friends know as well.
35 tickets sold so far, at a rate of about 7/day. If we keep up this pace we'll be sold out in early August, so things are right on track. Please continue to spread the word and make sure this thing sells out!
I'm going to get the menu poll up sometime this weekend, which will allow you guys to vote on what you'd like to eat at the party. Just like the last two years, it's all up to you guys. I leave as much of this party in your hands as I possibly can.
I'm also putting out the call very early for consoles and games. This year we have an astonishing 12 screens to utilize, and I would love to have consoles hooked up to each one of them. As long as space allows on my drive up, I'm going to bring an XBox 360 with Rock Band and Halo Reach, as well as a NES with some favorites like Battletoads, Double Dragon, etc. I'd love to have some MvC3, Halo, SSFIV, maybe some You Don't Know Jack, CoD, Castle Crashers, Forza, whatever. Hell, we've even got a stage, so we might be able to do something like Dance Central if we get a Kinect.
Anyone who is willing to offer up a console for the party should PM me on the forums and let me know the specifics.
Also also, I'm very pleased to say that about half of the people who've registered have also donated to the raffle, and we're already at $250! At the current rate, I'll have one HELL of a fund to use to shop for raffle prizes.
Anything particular you guys want to go up for grabs? Anything cool caught your eye lately? I'm totally open to suggestions!

Yeah, I didn't think it'd be out that quick but I really have no idea what the release date is on that thing. LOTR extended edition on Blu-Ray would be a cool thing as well. Maybe a Kinect? Maybe a nice video card?
All really good suggestions. If I have the amount of money it looks like I'm going to have, a console (or two, honestly) isn't out of the question.
43 tickets sold! Keep spreading the word! We haven't lost momentum yet and I have no doubt that we'll sell out, but part of that is being diligent in keeping the buzz alive.

Be careful with the prizes for those of us that may be international travelers. if it's something super big/expensive it may be a lot more difficult to get it to our respective countries, even Canada.

I think I have convinced the rest of my PAX crew to join in as well, hoping they will buy their tickets sooner rather than later.
Hopefully there will be a few familiar faces from the TWDT, assuming I stay coherent enough Thursday for anyone to be familiar.
PAX is coming.

As far as the raffle goes, maybe s 3DS or Vita if it's out by then.
I'd say there's no chance of the Vita being out by then, but you know, raffling a 3DS isn't a bad idea.

Will be buying ticket when I get paid (friday), and aggressively badgering my friend into going as well.
