I feel like I'm cheering on those race cartoons at the ball games.

I was going to buy my ticket in a couple days anyway when I had a bit more money in my account, but I couldn't wait any longer now that Jonny and the Protomen are going to be there. My whole team (primary staff + extended crew) is going to be there, and you bet we'll have cameras rolling!
Thanks for putting this all together Arco, it's the first time I've actually looked forward to something after PAX. :P
I won't be attending this year maybe next year guys! Won't have my money in time before they sell out. Saving up for PAX AND rent is hard xD nonetheless, I'll see you all at PAX!

Yeah, I just realized I've been thinking about this and the train trip way more than actual PAX.
Yeah man, the train trips are so much fun I don't blame ya. I took the cross-country train trip to PAX East 2010 (From Seattle, mind you) and though it was like 3.5 days long, it was worth it, at least after I started meeting up with a bunch more PAX'ers. So yeah, events like this need to keep happening, and always be as epic as this.
Just one question, I know that the console games being hooked up are all free but are the arcade games set to free play while the party is on. I'm referring the ones taken from the opening post.
ticket get. i too was going to wait until i had more funds in the hole, but this recent announcement and such a large quantity of tickets sold in such a short amount of time, forced my hand. i can't wait for this.
Any idea if The Protomen are going to bring any merch to sell? I need a shirt man.
I'd be willing to bet that they'll still have stuff to sell seeing as how they have a full on concert on Friday, and even if they don't have a merch table you could just ask them directly. They're all super approachable and I highly doubt they'd turn down a chance to make a buck.
Add the ol' Game Show Man to the guest list. Just bought my ticket and voted on the menu. Looking forward toward it...almost as much as I'm looking forward to my first PAX. Driving all the way up to Seattle from Anaheim for it; never been to Seattle, for that matter.
I think I bought my two tickets, but there was some weirdness with PayPal, so the tickets were supposedly refunded until the charge went through, at which point I supposedly got tickets again--but no second confirmation e-mail.
Can you confirm please? I was stoked about the party already, but now that the Protomen are playing, I'm pretty much flipping out and kicking people in the face in excitement. Thanks!
Would love to attend as well, but I have no idea how my finances will be afterwards haha. I am already spending so much on traveling, hotel costs, and other accommodations. Looks like it will be an epic party though, be nice to meet other PAXers in the area. Anyone that can go should and enjoy!

It's official, we're sold out! Thanks to everyone who bought tickets and donated. This year is going to be the most amazing year we've ever had.
If you bought a ticket at the original price ($35) and you haven't donated to The Protomen/Jonny Nero fund, I strongly urge you to do so.
If you haven't voted on the menu poll yet, do that, too. I want to make sure everyone's tastes are represented before I send the final menu over to Jillian's next week.
I've created a Google Docs spreadsheet that anyone can edit to keep track of who is bringing what consoles. If you plan on bringing consoles or games, please fill out the spreadsheet! This will be very helpful for identifying games that we need and don't need. The spreadsheet can be found:
So, I really want to donate to the band, but I need to wait till I get payed Friday, will the donations remain open till then?
Of course! Donations will stay open until about a week before PAX. That will leave me enough time to move the funds to my bank account so I can give them to the bands. Raffle donations will be closed a little bit sooner, so I can move the funds, buy the stuff, and ship it to Seattle in time for PAX. You've definitely still got a week or two in either case.

So sad, I finally get my wallet out and it's sold out. Have fun everyone while I cry myself to sleep Sunday night.
So what is the party security situation going to be like Arco? Will other Jillian's restaurant patrons be blocked from the first floor somehow?
Can silly gooses like Atratyys hang out with us after our 3 hour dominion of the first floor ends?
I am not suggesting that people without a ticket should be granted access to food and drinks that ticket holders have paid for.

Salt factory? I see fighting games. Get ready to bring your A-game! I might also bring a dualmodded TE fightstick, depending on what the PAX tournaments schedule look like.

And they are gone. The event is now soldout.
Well, if people still want to see the Protomen and Jonny Nero Action Hero, keep in mind the free afterparty on Friday.
Also, apparently the Protomen are going to rock out at Jamspace at some point.
For everyone else, I'll see you at Jillian's.
Jamspace will be Saturday night. Last year it was at 7PMish if I remember correctly.
Looks like this thing is SOLD OUT! Good thing I got in when I did.
