I'm not sure if any cartoon (targeted for children, mind you) do that sort of thing anymore. Which is a goddamn shame because it'd give a hook for parents to watch with them.

I can't really get into anything those guys do. My brother once tried to get me super high and force feed me episodes of Tom Goes To the Mayor and I just sat there being very displeased.
I just don't think they're funny at all.
Tom Goes to the Mayor is just a style of humor that doesn't appeal to me, and that's fine. Everyone has different tastes in humor.
However, Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job is a black hole of comedy that is objectively not funny in the slightest. It's just bullshit after bullshit. There are no jokes. There isn't even an attempt at comedy anywhere in the whole thing.

They're intentionally being altered to represent this:
A human. Even if it's a cartoon, the ponies are being drawn with the purpose of making them more humanoid, to some qualitative extent. It's not that indicative of the uncanny valley, and you don't have to agree, but a half dozen of us just agreed that it looks pretty off-putting.
Photo Finish as Hitler in the Inglorious Pnies video was hilarious. I'll have to watch the Downfall video after work.... (Loves me some funny subtitling)
