Wh- Why does she have Rainbow Dash' mane and tail? Is she trying to become more assertive?
It amazes me that Hasbro will go to such lengths to avoid making a decent product. I had always heard that My Little Pony existed solely to sell toys, one would think that Hasbro would put some effort into the toys.

And, yes, I too am annoyed that Fluttershy doesn't get her own mold. Really? REALLY?
I'm guessing those ponies are either fakes or based off of early production designs that got changed for the show but not for the toys.
Nah . . . What happened was Hasbro made a set of little figures consisting of all the core ponies EXCEPT Fluttershy. These were packaged in the typical "toy in a bubble" type way. Then these blind bags appeared on eBay Germany, with ponies in the same molds as the "toy in a bubble" set. (Blind bags = opaque bag, so you don't know which pony you get until you open it.)
The blind bag set has 20+ different ponies in it. Well, they couldn't leave Fluttershy out of a set that big. But they also didn't want to create a new mold for her. So they put her in Rainbow Dash's mold.

Why can Hasbro make twenty of each different Transformer but making a mold for Fluttershy is somehow beyond them?
