Wow. So many great episodes but for some reason this one seems to stick out. I don't know why, but Pinkie Pie going insane just seemed really expressive. I guess it was all the animated tweaks and backgrounds, but the whole thing was done really well. Pinkie Pie went up a few tiers in my book after this episode.
Also: Thank you Penny Arcade Community. Thank you for sucking me into the most unexpected interest I ever hoped to pick up hanging around here. I've already added a friend of mine to the Brony herd, so maybe now the cycle is complete? Suppose I should pick up a ponytar next...

You guys should read this fanfic. Why? Because Dash gets a pet in it and names it Baron Awesome. At the very least read the dream sequence in Chapter 2 (it's in italics.)
Excerpt:
When they arrived in the Dash Cave, they were fully clothed. Rainbow Dash was wearing the Rainbow Armor Rarity had made for her, and Baron Awesome was wearing a pointed German style helmet and a monocle. Waiting for them in the cave below was Rainbow Dash's loyal Ponyservant, Rarity.
Rarity said, "Mistress Rainbow Dash, the mayor is on the Dash-phone for you. And might I say, that Rainbow Armor is 20% cooler than anything else I have ever designed, and I was silly for feeling humiliated by it."

I just watched it again. So many good parts.
* Gummy is one year old! That is cute!
* Rarity spitting punch in Pinkie's face, and Pinkie doesn't move a muscle, just keeps on grinning like nothing happened. If you look in the background you can see Twilight looking at it like "Am I seeing this?"
* The ponies dancing! Specifically the part where Twilight, Pinkie, and Fluttershy are imposed on a colorful background and weaving in and out of a formation. If someone could please make me a signature of that, I would be grateful and would reward you however I can.

First time I ever got a pony related dream was the night I really started getting into MLP.
It was about Pinkie Pie. It involved sewers, spirits zooming out and Pinkie Pie being held hostage by something evil.
Then it became happy and a party. All of Ponyville, Batman and Obama were there. Then we went to Sears to visit my family who was living there.
Pretty fucked up dream.
