The biggest thing about Tzeentch's acolyte upgrade is the ability to ruin regions on your own (you can take a region from no corruption to gone in a single round if you drag 6 warpstones into it with acolytes, for example). You weren't the only one with non-standard upgrade choices this game, though; I skipped my cultist upgrade at first since I thought I needed the extra PP to get bloodletters spread out, and I went with the Daemon upgrade at the end to give me a shot at competing with Nurgle for domination.
@Hippie: the shuffling algorithm on handtracker seems to clump cards a bit more than I would expect from random distribution, but had it not been shuffled at all, your opening hand would have been two Abyssal Pacts and 3 Perverse Infiltrations.
