There is no point to the fourth and fifth barracks. With proper macro the three barracks will keep up constant production and keep your money at zero. I just faced Dhal doing the same build and beat him with three barracks. The first engi bay is fine but the second was early, even if he was double forging.

I think Dhal posted the replay of our game; one thing that I tried, and failed because of my bad micro, was to load units trapped by the forcefields into my medivacs and drop them on the other side. That can really help against FF heavy play like that. The other major factor was the large arc I had in the battle, which is what you should have tried to set up on the bottom of your ramp (spreading out makes sure all your units are shooting). Also notice that I kept up constant SCV scouting to see what was coming, and it allowed me to snipe a pylon and delay the push slightly.

This works pretty well for both Terran and Zerg. Up until they get blink and surprise you with it by killing your entire army in transports.

yeah i dont know why they are so quick to put up replays instead of VODs.

If I want to see cool pro replays to analyse I can find some replay packs. If I want to watch MLG it means i want to watch MLG. The games aren't as fun sans commentary.

    Pretty much.

This is straight up wrong. TLO proxied 2 rax and Idra didn't have enough to hold it when the game lagged. Idra forfeiting instead of forcing the refs to regame shows class, and a better attitude than he's probably ever shown before.

That is professional as hell, and I give him credit for that.

That notwithstanding, I think eSports in general needs to stop emulating wrestling. There's no reason for the players to be such violent thunderqueefs to each other - if the game itself doesn't provide the drama then you're doing it wrong.

SC2 isn't that bad, although the QQ ragequits are hillarious.

LoL - or other MOBA's, I guess, are much, much more BM than SC2.

Thanks for the nice responses guys. Funny how I joined the PA forums back in 2007 because I got selected to be in the Omegathon (DAMN YOU HALO 3 and Rock Band 2!!) and continued to stay here to pimp my webcomic.

After a while, it was just an awesome place to hang out and meet more like minded gamers. I've always enjoyed giving back to the community and took my opportunity when both the Street Fighter and Starcraft threads became available. I hope that one day when I'm employed in the gaming industry, I can continue to work with the community to give back more and improve upon the past time that we all enjoy.

Marriage now. Once I graduate school, we're gonna be moving to Seattle. Hopefully we can find a nice Command Center or Supply Depot to rent out when we get there.

Anywho, enough mushy talk. Back to OP discussions! :D

God any zerg that says protoss are easy to play are idiots. I just got fucking steam rolled by a zerg all in attack again because i looked away from my army for a second and he got a surround on me and killed too many sentries. Protoss requires so much more early unit control.

It would've taken some good control for him to get the surround so quickly.

Well I went to my base to lay a pylon down real quick and start an upgrade, then he ran in and killed my guys taking out the rocks. It doesn't take good control to get a surround at all, its really easy, like all you do is move past what you want to attack then you attack. It is so much harder for me since I actualyl have to micro individual units to prevent them from getting killed or surrounded. But yeah people who talk shit about how easy toss is, there probably have one of the toughest starts for a race. You have to play perfectly PvZ to keep from dieing, if you lose too many sentries you die, if you use too many FFs you die, if you don't get good FFs you die.

Also it shows my brother as online, linked with the real ID, shows him playing WoW...well he isn't playing WoW so what the fuck is going on? I figure someone stole his account.

Cols is probably a better location for the eastern half of the country. Plus the airport has direct links to all the hubs in the US except like SanFran and Seattle, which connect from Cincinnati I think. Though I don't think either city is particularly exciting at all. Chicago probably would have been a better bet, but apparently MLG does fairly well in Columbus, it's been there going on 3 years now. /shrug

CVG is literally the most expensive airport to fly into/out of.

That, and their bars are on the wrong side of security.
