The tour I want to see most is Heaven and Hell. Also, the No Fear tour, with Killswitch Engage, Dragonforce, Chaimaira, and some fucking band I've never heard of. Mstly Heaven and Hell, though.

I am at a loss for words.. ive never seen them live and i missed them when they came to dallas awhile ago..

what should i do til saturday?

Secure tickets IMMEDIATELY. From what I hear they sell out hella fast. Also, grow a mullet if you can. And buy a Camaro. Everyone will think you're a badass.

See, these guys thought that made them sound like monsters, in a whimsical way. I thought it sounded incredibly homosexual.

I tried, so goddamned hard, TRIED to get them to change the name. They settled on our first album (which never came to be) being titled "No, we're not gay but thanks for asking."

Singer dude came out in a crate.

They're fucking amazing. I saw them at Ozzfest last year. They dropped a fucking bomb on that place. One of the best shows I've seen.

Edit: Yeah, Static-X was awesome. I'm pretty sure after that guy went to prison for statutory rape and transporting a minor across state line the band kinda fell apart though.

I mean, it's less "metal" but the drum textures and arrangements are pretty solid.

Their newer stuff is probably heavier, but only as a cut above Evanescence chugchugchug.

I was listening to Boris earlier and Denial of God hasn't quite dug me out of the hole they created by pounding me straight into the ground, I wonder what this Sear album is like, I haven't heard of them before.

Guitarist. And no they didn't go away. They got their old guitarist from the Wisconsin Death Trip album and released a new album in 2005, called Start a War. Sounds more like Wisconsin Death Trip than their other albums (well at least from the songs I'v heard).
