The sky area is slowly driving me nuts. A whole week and I haven't seen a single Gligar. Screw it, looks like I have to rely on good ol' Swampert as a way of dealing with Excadrills. If only it had Poison Heal. :(

Thanks for the offer, but I'm not in a hurry to breed one. Hopefully, someday, one of those clouds will bring forth a bat scorpion thing, which will then turn out to be male. I've spent some time in this imaginary world and I don't really see a direct correlation between the given score and male/female ratio. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Sadly this Timburr is my best creation yet. Lowish attack IVs considering the parents. Should I plug it back in as a parent to hopefully get a higher attack one?

    Timburr - #532 (Brave) : 24 - 25 / 16 - 17 / 31 / 20 - 21 / 20 - 21 / 0 - 3

Pretty sure the female is either 31 attack or 27-28, think I'm going to just put a power bracer on her, the everstone on him and take my chances.

It's not that bad. I have a Gardevoir whose maximum IV is 27 and I used to use it in battle. The other important IVs are 22 and 23.

Any reason why you're going with a brave nature? I understand that going last is essential for payback, but the things you want to use it against that are slower, Slowbro and Reuniclus, are not likely to go first and will probably smash you with Psychic anyway if they do go first. Against Snorlax and Ferrothorn, going first or last to drain punch may be the difference between life and death. The only thing I can think of that a brave nature would be essential against is going last against Dusknoir and payback it.

If you're still about Zombie, I can offer a Vullaby.

My Pokedex has been growing steadily despite mostly just training competitive teams, it's awesome. I mean percentage wise I'm worse off than my original Silver game of 228/251, but having 415/646 legitimately obtained Pokemon with all the legendaries is kickass.

I don't think you should feel too bad about taking good berries and leaving worse. You can't take a berry if you already have it yourself, so you can't run around and rob everybody of their good berries.

But the whole reason everyone is given a random resistance berry is to encourage this stuff. Granted, I bet there are people who put good berries up and don't expect anything in return, but there are likely plenty of people who feel miffed when people give them oran berries for their good stuff.

Actually, I should probably ask now, if you swap something on somebody's Share Shelf, can anyone else take the berry I've given them?

I don't believe that trading items gives points. And, yes, trading rare berries for rare berries doesn't work because, since you can only access your garden every 24 hours, some asswipe is going to trade the berry you gave for a common berry anyway.

I just put rare berries of one or two kinds on the shelf to spread them to various people instead of one individual. You're probably going to get guff either way. On the bright side, those common berries they gave you can be saved towards furniture and a house makeover.

Damn, so the shelves that were filled with oran berries could have just been raided shelves (as opposed to people expecting good stuff for them). It would be much nicer if a traded berry was added to your treasure chest.

I don't think it really matters. You only need 1 per rare berry and unless you're an idiot you'll always have seeding stock to provide more. And then many common berries, like oran berries, are heavily required in the purchasing of stuff for your house.

Trading items on shelves does give you points but it's pretty much not worth the trouble.
Other players can swap their own items for items placed on a Share Shelf. A player will not be able to trade for an item that they already have, and will not be able to trade back an item they have traded away as of the April 2011 update. Each trade will earn the player 1 Dream Point.

EDIT: I want to build a Gliscor for the subway. I figure Aerial Ace and E'Quake will cover the STAB move but I'm still torn how to round him out. I'm leaning more towards Poison Jab and U-Turn but I'm open to suggestions.

And yes, this is a DW Gliscor.

Poison Heal is basically there to allow him to be a good bulky defender, so he can run a good sub set with EVs in HP and defences. You could also try something like EQ, ice fang, acrobatics, swords dance. It's a shame he can't learn roost anymore.

You'd use a toxic orb for poison heal. Someone said toxic orb had changed to be 'consumed' after the poisoning, but I don't know if that turned out to be true or not.

Also remember that poisoning yourself not only heals you, but makes you immune to other status effects, allowing him to freely switch into thunder waves, spore, hypnosis, yawn, will o wisp and toxic after having been in play for one turn.

Turn battle animations off and run through the normal single train. After winning fight 21 you'll have 16bp. And it doesn't even begin to get challenging until fight 15+.

Does turning off battle animations actually do anything in B&W. In the past games it felt like it didn't make much of a difference.

In other new female Zoruas can get you practically anything on WFC. It's too bad you can't search for stuff you don't have in your pokedex.

It helps battles go by soooo much faster. The only thing that's annoying is that it still doesn't turn off some things, like the leech seed animation...sooo weird. Still, big improvement in saving time.

Ugh, I got kicked from the dream world a couple days ago, never woke up my pokemon and assumed that I would be able to keep playing like it was a new day. Nope. I could only finish the things I didnt finish the previous time, but all the pokemon I saw the previous time were gone...fantastic.

Also, I really have no idea why it appears to let you take back like 10 pokemon or whatever. I remember someone saying that you can keep choosing pokemon and just not taking them back with you or whatever, but Im pretty sure you cant. When I first played I didnt have my game synced with my Dream World account and I selected a pokemon and didnt have it sent back to the game. The next time I logged on I couldnt go back to the isle of dreams or whatever until I woke up and got the stuff I collected the previous login.
