So, how many points does everyone have in the DW? I have 2670, but that's because I've been abusing the RNG. Man, the DW is so lame. I just want my fucking 10000 points to find Poliwag and Vulpix and I'll never go back to it.

I've stopped making any effort in the DW because I've unlocked Sea and I just want a Magikarp, but I'm around 5500. I managed to get pretty much everything I wanted from DW by trading on the GTS instead, including Poliwag and Vulpix. Want me to hook you up?

Always a possibility I'm sure, Japanese gamers hacking average pokes and distributing them for miscellaneous things like Snovers :P A sort of bizzare altruism maybe!

I currently have 6530, my DW friend list is full, and I'm pretty sure I've got all the berries you can get in the DW.
I don't think the DW was really thought out all that well, or is just pointlessly restrictive. I wish I could hand out berries in the DW rather than placing them on a shelf and hoping they log in before someone else takes it. The hour that you're restricted too is pretty dumb when really there's only 30-90 minutes of stuff to do any ways. 24 hours isn't really all that realistic either since logging in at the same time every day is crappy; why couldn't it have been 18 hours.
Meh you fellas just take DW to seriously. My limit is trying to get a female pokemon that isn't already in my pokedex so I just log in every few days or so. The wailord and flying game are pretty fun as well.

I probably do take it too seriously. I try to get 500+ points every time I'm there, and run through the gauntlet several times looking for a female I don't have and getting the most points I can get. Then I run through everyone's garden trying to empty my water can.
But I dunno, I have fun doing it. I only refuse to do the freaking ice cream game unless it's for a poké I don't have yet.
I've only managed to break 500 points once (in which case you level-up) and I play this shit every day. Closing in on 4000!
I only play the hide and seek game these days though. The pelipper and wailord game are getting tedious and scooping ice requires a berry (trying to make my house prettier, I'm such a tool!)
They're probably going to release more DW Pokemon once people get bored with it.

The lost potential of having made an actually fun flash game is really just too bad. Imagine a dreamworld that was more like a simple harvest moon or roguelike, or something that is actually a game.
You think we'll ever see either new minigames in the DW or at least variations of? Like why not have Aerodactyl or Charizard in the Sky Race? They're popular, you only have to change the water icon, and it's something difference occasionally which is what bugs me the most about DW.

Totally agree. They could try so many fun and innovative new game types, maybe even something that people would eventually want as its own spin off. Instead, they keep making shoddy 'half games'.
I guess Pokemon's rise to popularity has put it in this situation where Game Freak is busy making the core, stay-true-to-the-original-formula RPG games, while the spin-offs and add-ons are being developed by side companies that have amateur developers or just really bland ideas and prospects (as long as we fit all the Pokemon in there, people will be happy).
When Pokemon was first starting out, games like Stadium were handled by Hal, and it was ok to make a game that didn't include every pokemon as long as it was fun. Really hoping the next Pokemon console game Nintendo is hinting at will be something exciting.

I grabbed a Lotad off the Dream World today solely because he was wearing a hat and evolves into Lombre (I also dig Ludicolo, but the racial stereotyping with Lombre is too hilarious). Im pretty stoked about this pokemon.

I had to train up a couple of new guys to take on the E4. A lot of their pokemon are weak to dark, fighting or psychic. But I didn't have any of those attacks when I reached the E4.
Now I use Zoroark, Mienshao and Reuniclus and it goes pretty well.
