There IS an FMV game called the Dark Eye based on the writings of Edgar Allen Poe. The people are not people but people wearing odd costumes ala scary UK kids TV.

The problem wasn't my guns; the problem was that for the late-game, the classes were horribly balanced. Brick was basically useless, and Siren became fully vested in her status as avatar of the god of war.

Whyyyyyy? Here we have two Borderlands PC users who are talking good things about Borderlands without pissing away valuable server cycles complaining about how it's "consoleized" and "the menus suck" and etc.

Let's keep this moment as it is.

no because every video game looks the same and is boring

also because stretching textures across polygons probably wouldn't work all that well for impressionism, although I bet you could just cheat it with five or so layers of textured "paint" surfaces wrapped around 3d objects

surrealism you could do more easily with the basic approach in games today, it would be more about subject matter and juxtapositions of visual elements for incongruity's sake

I hope that graphics hardware keeps on getting more powerful not for the sake of photorealism (why bother) but because I'd like to see a graphics engine do something interesting for once, like make every object out of glowing vapors or somesuch

I'm glad I gave it a few months between Sands of Time and Warrior Within. All this Smouldering Generic Rage would have contrast so harshly with Sands of Time it would have spoiled my memories of it.

    Still good Gameplay though.

I just skipped Warrior Within and went straight from Sands of Time to The Two Thrones.

    I did this.

Didn't feel like I missed anything - story works very well as a duology

brother gave me an ipod nano (touch) to diagnose

i've never used one but it seems either broken or set in a weird 'option lock' mode or something... or it's a well made knock off

if i touch the screen once it 'selects' the element of the screen i touched

if i double click the element, it does that action (play, pause, etc)

i read the online manual... it says hold anywhere on the screen to revert to main menu, but that doesn't work

    halp

You fix it the same way you fix any Apple product:

    1) Go to Apple store.
    2) Buy new Apple product.

Re-modeling all the characters. Re-rigging due to the remodeling, re-animating. I think.

Because the models are clearly quite stylized and they weren't before. Terrain objects I'd wager as well.
