I'm probably going to be holding onto the data in my ME3 prep game.
Maybe the entire game will end up being a big bromance between them.
And in the end they will solve the whole genophage problem by hugging it out.
Wrex actually seems convincible from 1 and 2. I mean, he turned down another cure earlier when Shepard laid out the score.
Not that he'd like it, but he could understand the reasoning, and the whole turning down outsiders solving their problems bit. It's other Krogan I'd worry about.
I could talk the Batarians into letting the doctor go
But the signal henchmen option is tempting.
That's hardly a wrong.
I mean, the right option is to tell the Batarian you all can be friends, then have them shot with their backs turned. But that alternative leaves them dead, so all to the good.

Well yeah
But then the option doesn't involve the underused word Henchmen

That's what I was saying. Pros and cons to every approach.
I love the details about direct combat with the Reapers. Yes, they should be very challenging enemies to fight, but there's no such thing as an 'unkillable' enemy. Time to put that organic ingenuity to good use.

I'm thinking the Reaper "fights" will be more of a cinematic thing.
I would be pretty OK with piloting a Leviathan that had a cain-chaingun and then jumping off its head with a cain-mounted hammerhead and jumping out of the hammerhead to cain-punch a reaper core and getting out of there before it blows with a cain-jetpack
I'm thinking the Reaper "fights" will be more of a cinematic thing.
Like go do this or activate this, then blam!
There will definitely be smaller Reapers, that mechanically will be similar fights to Praetorians.
As for the 2 mile long ones, we already infiltrated one when we rescued Legion in ME2. I can imagine a mission where one is looming over [Insert name of Alliance HQ building here] and you have but minutes to land on the Reaper, fight your way to the core and plant a bomb.
Heck, it would be badass if your heavy weapon was replaced with a nuclear device that you had to carry around. Like a suitcase you plant it right on the core and haul ass out of there.

They already said that the "small" Reapers are still 500-600 meters. That still isn't something to fight by conventional means.
So yeah. I could see something like taht where you have to get inside it or guide a warship.
But I doubt you'll be doing it in the traditional manner.
I think we can all agree that ME3 needs more nuclear munitions
It's strange considering we hardly ever see any. I can imagine mass accelerator rounds mostly replace them in space combat due to their yeild, but surely nuclear missiles are still useful to some extent.

So -Tal, are you going to have a nervous breakdown when your hero, TIM turns out to be one of the greatest enemies of humanity? I hope I get to grab Wrex and give TIM a double wedgie.
j/k
- though anyone who doesn't like Wrex is seriously f'ed up.
I don't even hate Wrex. He's just a mediocre merc who put a gun to my face and openly threatened the mission, and I treat him the same I would anybody else who did that. TIM does the opposite and helps me out constantly. If he can't even control himself at the thought that there might be a genophage cure, I can't trust him to control himself when he's actually in the base.
Kaidan's best story is how he murdered his abusive teacher with a biotic kick to the neck
Wrex's best story is how he ran out of ammo for his infinite ammo gun and then let his target get way, but not before murdering nearly every civilian on the station first

Garrus' best story is the same as Wrex except that he didn't manage to get onto the ship to begin with.

seems like mass accelerators have them beat for bang for the buck (literally) i'd bet. maybe you could use nukes to spread fallout? even then i bet a mass accelerator could just be converted to fire "dirty" radioactive munitions and spread them far and wide better and more predictably than a nuke

Shepard's best story goes untold.
Because she was too drunk to remember anything, and everyone else involved died hideously.

after decades of asking what the hell kind of person kaiden is, you get the answer: kaiden is a person who once kicked a guy in the neck, but he's not that guy any more. who he is now remains a mystery.
wrex? his cynical nature about the self-destructive nature of his people is unexpected and refreshing from what you would expect given how cruel the phage can be, which makes the reveal that he really does care about helping the krogans and the universe even more satisfying

Nah, making the bartender drink the poison after it FAILED to kill shepard. Wrex's best story? Getting ambushed by his father and killing everyone on his way out.
Jesus does EVERYONE in the ME universe (aside from Shepard) have parent issues?
EDIT: Wrex actually changes from ME1 - bah my people are doomed so I'll just be a merc. After Virmire, I think he sees that there might be a chance at a solution (even though Saren's way is obviously wrong). It rekindles his hopes for his people so he returns to try and right the ship.

Obviously. I mean, Shepard is a goddamn hero. What other background would you use?

Why I fear the ocean.
What you mean to say is that you played the game the wrong way.
Like, double wrong.
Since you don't even have the decency to kill the best party member yourself.
Why I fear the ocean.
2 wrongs.... make a right?

I would respect him more if he didn't go down like a bitch
seriously, he doesn't even try to get up as Shepard takes her sweet time lining up a shot. Like he wants you to kill him. As he should.
