I recently ordered a new monitor for my Phoenix arcade game that was manufactured 30 years ago. It was very hard to find because the monitor it takes is no longer being made. Now new arcade games are using LCD monitors. If my new monitor stops working in the new future, is it possible to replace it with an LCD monitor?

depends on the connection cables I would think. You can probably do it with an adapter or two.
It will depend on the LCD monitor, some may not handle the 15 kHz RGB signal straight, but there are converters as has been mentioned. You may introduce lag using some LCD monitors and converters can have the same effect. But Ground Kontrol in Portland, OR uses an LCD monitor for its X-Men arcade cabinet, you might shoot them an e-mail. I've also seen Tornado Terry's in Keller, TX install consumer HDTVs in some of its older arcades, you may want to try contacting them as well.

Yes. They do make these sort of screens that address 15khz resolutions.
However, it may not look right or as good as the original machine. LCD's are different enough tech that you may not get the picture resolution and blending that you are desiring.
