The point of the IGN video is that they talk about what is shown in the trailer and have been told some stuff by Gearbox that's not in the trailer. They mention that Axton's class name is commando and that the girl seen briefly in the trailer is called Tiny Tina.

Did anyone else notice in the later shots that the characters had their space guns on them. Some of them are either placeholders or untextured, but in some of the scenes, they definitely have their space loadout guns strapped to their sides and back. (at about 1:08 on the youtube version you can see it clearly on Maya/Salvador)
Which is pretty cool, actually. But I wonder if it's just something they're trying out because Maya is using a single AR or Sniper that's as tall as she is. Maybe SMGs and smaller stay on your person (and draw quicker? I know draw speed was a variable stat in Borderlands and made the difference for some to the shotguns/anarchies I chose to use), but ARs and larger 'warp' in via your SD.

The trailer shows some guy who's a ninja? That seems pretty cool, it's going to be hard to resist playing a ninja, but you know, guns.
Salvador (Gunzerker) looks to have a close-range DPS focus, maybe with tanking as well. Maya (Siren) seems to have an emphasis on support and tanking, with a CC ability. Axton (Commando) has a turret which can apparently be spec'd in several different ways. Zero (Ninja guy, don't know the class name) has an ability which highlights critical hit points on enemies and drops some kind of decoy, he's a sniper/assassin.

But it looks like she can use it to heal allies, too. It's probably what she's doing in the video where it looks like something is jumping at her and she raises her hand and 'crushes' it with her MIND.
Basically, a hot Darth Vader with an SMG who uses to force to keep her low-rise pants from falling down when she crouches to shoot.

Lilith's playstyle is definitely most suited for myself, so I'm hoping for something similar from Borderlands 2 - looks like Maya would be the one to try first.
Zero is interesting, though.
I tried the Soldier and Hunter in Borderlands and found them a lot less fun than the Siren. Never did try Brick.

I hope I have a decent PC by the time it releases so I can play on PC instead of 360. Seemed like that was where most of the community was playing and my copy doesn't run well enough to play with people. Lag city.
from the looks of the trailer, and i just gearbox (the way i used to feel about BW) the only thing im not sure they did in order to make the perfect fps, please please please gearbox release tools for modding/skinning/texturing, there was a modding community for the first game but it was fairly inaccessible.
So did anyone else notice that Handsome Jack's face seems to be latched on? If you look at him in the trailer you can see the metal clamps on his chin and it looks smoother and slightly different color than the rest of him.

Yes, I think they actually made it less obvious than in some of the earlier screenshots (or they were higher resolution). I wonder if his lips will open (silent antagonist?), we haven't seen them move yet except to go from grimace to grin.

So from the sounds of things Handsome Jack got everything that was speculated in myth about what was in the Vault. Alien technology, fame, power, women. I mean I doubt their was a harem inside the Vault, but you got to imagine with the first three, women wouldn't be far behind.
Oh also, the last scene in the trailer with Handsome Jack is damn near shot for shot the same from the original, original trailer with Helena Pierce.

Honestly, folks, if BL2 and D3 were to release around the same time, I would buy BL2 waaaaaaay earlier.
Wouldn't even be a contest for me. D3 looks like a great game, but Borderlands is topped only by L4D for title of "most entertaining co-op game" as far as I'm concerned.

The voice actor for Lilith hasn't changed. Similar to the Guardian Angel, her live-action model and voice aren't the same person.
