Getting video and audio from my MBP to my TV with HDMI

I can't figure out how to get audio from my Macbook Pro to play through my TV. My MBP is old enough that it can't output audio through an HDMI cable (apparently the most recent models can do this), and I'm not sure my TV is capable of playing audio through a separate cable while playing video through an HDMI cable. Or at least I haven't figured out how to do that yet. I don't know what cable I would need or what I'm supposed to do with my TV. If it helps, here's the TV I own:

What sort of cable am I supposed to be looking for? Is it possible my TV won't be able to do what I want (output audio and video at once)?
