stream starts getting choppy for me whenever it goes to game cam, fine during live camera or still image footage. Hopefully it clears up
Me too. I think it's an issue with JTV. I now have the stream open on my desktop in Firefox 4.0 Windows 7, my laptop in Firefox 3.6 Windows 7, and my netbook Firefox 4.0 Windows XP.
If they all get choppy then it's either my school's network or JTV. Considering nothing else is acting weird and that I get 16 Mbps down, probably JTV.
I don't mind the flying-cam idea of being able to walk through the map, but yeah... doing it at an angle that doesn't come up in-game... it doesn't really seem to have any benefit
I really shouldn't feel this stoked about a video game.
Also Joe, I did this:
1) Without knowing any build order beyond 26 supply and only knowing 2 *well* up to 26 supply...
2) Without any battle micro whatsoever (except for putting zealots in front and the occasional force field)
3) An average APM of 35, peaking at 60.

at this point, i'm continuing to identify one problem at a time, and address that. the last fix was a huge change in keyboarding setup and hotkeys that took a while to get the muscle memory down. injects are much better, and i'm off of 1 key syndrome.
injects still need improvement, but basic macro seems to be there, i'm starting to get puzzled. i focus on a very few number of opens, so its not like that's what's getting me.
though, stupid mistakes do. i lost to a Terran last night that I had contained to one base, I had three running, and I attacked his Sieged up choke like an idiot.
I actually like the fly-overs. It makes it feel like a sports field, if you will...
But I agree on sports jackets/graphic tees looking ridic
See, I kinda like it. It seems like it splits the difference between way too formal, and way too casual. Of course, I live in Austin and jeans and a t-shirt is my daily business attire, so my standards may be skewed.
Is it just me, or are they slightly out of sync, except when running a video?

Video FAIL.
There is way too much goddamn preshow here. About 30 seconds reviewing the maps is all we need, do the player rundowns during the early game real quick.

Their schedule says that they start games at 6pm PST/PDT. Part of the reason why the preshow is so long is because I believe they're going to summarize games from yesterday, only this is the first day so...

I thought it was supposed to start in about 5 minutes. They've only got a few more players to talk about, so isn't this reasonable? I mean, I don't watch sports much, so I'm like "gah, this is stupid" when there are hours of preshow on TV, but in this case, I actually am interested in the players and the game, so I'm kinda enjoying this. I'm not trying to be contrary, I just happen to actually be liking this right now.

This will be really cool if this is the plan.
I really hope this is the plan.

See, that I can get behind. That would be cool!
Also, I'm concerned that if they don't feed iNcontroL he might eat Gretorp.
Gotta remember not to let him get hungry.

Man, audio is out of sync by at least a second. Is it that way for everyone else...or just me?
The pregameshow and the first few mins of this game are lagging a lot:(. I hope this improves in the future, the NASL looks so promising for the sc2 esports community.

I'm inclined to see NASL improve but there's definitely room for improvement.

I have missed you too, Cue
Also sound effects for the graphics. All sports shows have that!
I'm just doing that my self.

But 10 player bios + poorly edited interviews is killing me here.

I'm also not convinced a 400 apm matters that much, compared to 250-300. Its like, man his inject was 20 ms faster!
