So Rerolled my Ecaflip last night, took about 10 attempts to get both Jackpot and Craps, i'm pretty happy with them as the change to All In made it a bit weaker (still a good spell but not for my style)

Now i'm working on building up my air spells to see how effective they can be. I really like Eca Bite as it is a nice Aoe with decent damage, and Hunter is really good for chasing down enemies they like to stay at ranged (Damned roses.) I don't know if it will compare to the pure single target damage output that Jackpot has (it really is nice, not Iop nice, but nice in general)

Also I am only putting 1 level into Tarot this time around, I want to see if having less types of cards come up will be better in the long run. Right now the only card types that can show up each turn are AP+/-, WP+/-, Damage 15% +/-, or HP 5 +/-.

The other points I will be putting into Meowtbreak in order to help maximize my air damage (Trading a wakfu point for possible 15% reduction in Air resistance? not too shabby considering there is a chance i'll get a free wakfu point each turn via Tarot ;))

Oh! and really quick since open beta started. The way the game is set up right now you really need to set your own goals. The game is not going to direct you much beyond giving you a list of achievements you can strive for.

Best thing to do is figure out what your goal is and then work backwards to figure out what you need to do to achieve that goal. For example right now my goal is to get everyone in my guild outfitted with decent bag space, in order to do that I need to get leatherworking leveled up, in order to do that I need to travel to the zone that will teach it too me, then I need to go collecting the materials I'll need. Some of these materials require me to harvest things that are above my level so I need to raise the appropriate jobs in order to accomplish that.

So a simple task like being able to make bags for everyone will require many hours worth of playing to get to that point. There is nothing in the game telling me I should do this, but it is a goal I have set for myself. I also gave myself a goal to get to 100 citizenship points so I can participate in the election of the Amakna governor, this way i'll have a say in who gets to govern a very important aspect of the game, and I can do my small part to ensure it is not some jerk who is working with the eco-terrorists.

On top of all THAT I'm working on raising my level so I can do the Gobbal dungeon in order to get a chance at rare Haven bag gems and work on getting the Gobbal horns we'll need for the bags I mentioned earlier. Also I need the gobbal set and this will help towards that goal as well.

Sounds good to me, I'm going to be rushing to get my current Ecaflip up to where my other one is in terms of jobs/levels etc.

I should be set by Friday I would imagine, especially with the increase the leveling rates.

Having the same issue here. I can't find anything on an open beta on the /na site. Registered an ID and no notification of an open beta either.

Then /en site has it up and running tho. Wonder whats up with the discrepancy.

I jumped into the open beta today and the game is pretty fun. I couldn't quite figure out what I was supposed to be doing, though. But I had a fun time doing it. The art style is quite pretty to boot. Though I think I'll get more into it when the Xelor's are finally released. Though playing a wind Iop was interesting.

It reminded me a lot of Ragnarok in the sense that they just throw you into a world and leave you be, for the most part.

So, just a note on the naming system for your "Username" which only shows up on the official forums. It turns out that anything with Synik in it shows up as "that nickname already exists" I went for my regular "Synikl" and even "Synikasdfasdfasefdfae" was taken, so was "Asynik". The only thing I could think of is a naming block that blocks the word synik.

Ok, so a few pointers on gaining Citizenship, which I believe allows you to do awesomer missions?

    Citizenship

In a given area, there's a clan member (the guys/gals marked with a star on your map, and in your top left hand corner). If you press W or click the Wakfu button beneath their top left corner avatar, you'll see a load of flasks. Some flasks have stars below them, and a range of numbers, e.g. 400-600. The flask will also have a level, say 410.

The clan members want the level to be in the range (i.e. 410 is between 400 and 600). If the number is below the range (e.g. 390) and you perform an action that raises the number, you will get a citizenship point. Equally, if you lower it, you will lose 3 citizenship points. Likewise if the number is above the range; performing actions that put the number into the range give you citizenship points.

Now, there is some sort of limit on citizenship points. I'm not quite sure what it is at this point, but I theorise it's either your character level +1 or your Wakfu/Stasis level +1. For example, I have 12% Wakfu and cannot gain more than 13 Citizenship points, even when the Clan Members need help with a given resource.

    --x--

Anyone found the Secrets in the nation areas? I assume they're like the secrets in Incarnum where you get emotes as a reward, but haven't found any secret foot symbols to stand on, for example.

When you are about to perform an action if you see a Green symbol over it you'll gain citizenship points, if it's red, you lose them. If there is no green symbol there will be no change.

There is not a limit on citizenship points because you need at least 100 to vote and at least 1000 to run for governor (something that would be impossible with your theory)

That being said i'm not sure what is stopping you from going over 13 (make sure you are getting the green symbol) but on my lvl 22 Ecaflip with 7% stasis I have 113 citizenship points. Most of which I got from trying to thin the herd of the gobbals in the Fertile Plains. You are correct in how you gain citizenship points though, any action you take that will bring a zone close to balance should net you citizenship points.

You can go back via the cannons in the Nation-neutral zone (the one you farm the two Quills in).

The two foot symbols on the southern part give you the laugh emote, the two foot symbols in the western part give you the point emote. In both cases you need 3+ people to get them (two to stand, one to open, the rotate).

I think Enutrofs are sadly shitty, and in desperate need of a rehaul. The only (chance) skill we have that does real damage, literally blows items off of the drop table. Everything else just does awful damage. The berserker thing is actually okay, but you can only use earth spells while in that form. The fire attacks are, without exception, awful. Still playing him, though! Pretty much doing what you're planning on doing. Also, mines don't work at all and are probably a huge deal considering what the red ones did before they broke them.

I'm mostly disgruntled because they say we're supposed to be a support class, but we have no "support" skills. The only things we can do is drop an item bag and give a guy +5% damage, and mass clumsiness, which is fucking terrible. We're a support class with no damage and no support, and it is tragic.

Edit: Oh! And our range is terrible.

Nope, you have to sell stuff to other players.

I'm really not sure what the economy's like and whether people bother buying at the moment. There's no auction house (although there is a browsable list of items being sold on the Bridges).
