Say, could Morde be the best late-game champion in LoL? Everytime there's a (mostly horrible) Morde in a team, and the game drags out really long, the team with Morde in it ends up winning, with him carrying the game.

AP Poppy, Tryndamere, Veigar, Nasus, possibly Anivia are, I would say, all much stronger maxed.
Can we seriously stop complaining about this game and the company that makes it? It's absurd that everyone does it, when I have no doubt that no one here actually knows what it's like for them.

Just please be smarter than what kept happening to me across multiple games against mordes and don't ult+ignite me at full health at my tower and then do no other damage to me.
For a super-dragged game, I'm not sure what I want my final items on Morde to be. Stacking spell vamp/AP on him makes his ult especially hilarious, but getting the right balance of defense items so that I don't get exploded instantly (assuming an enemy team that isn't all AD or all AP) while still doing loltastic damage seems tough.

It was pretty weird for me when my friends all started playing LoL while I was in the HoN beta.
I tried out LoL for the first time with them and immediately thought "omg, babbie's first moba!".
It's grown on me though and now I play it with my group from time to time. I don't really take it seriously though. I'm not a fan of reading up on strategies and so on, I just blast things with my Lux laser.

And this thread will still be complaining about how OP the 317th hero is, and wondering when we'll be getting Magma Chamber, Observer mode, Replays, and Tournament support.

It's the main reason, but LoL is designed to get new people into it. Gameplay is lot more forgiving for people who are new, the 'leveling account' mechanic gives new players a drive to keep playing and improving, and also keeps people of appropriate skill matched together so that newbies aren't being demolished.

Not 100% true. Last PA game I played I went 15-6 or so. I was a side lane duo. You can still impact the game. They actually improved things a bit when they made a few changes to the way exp works solo vs duo.
Why are people bitching about new Champs every 2 weeks? I think its great, it shakes up the meta and keeps stuff fresh consistently. You guys complaining about balance need to wait for season 2. I'm sure what they are gonna do is lock in 40-50 champs as the only ones available for ranked for that season, that way people can't complain about new champs in competitive play. Meanwhile they can release new champs for everyone else to play, and the cream of that crop will show up in Season 3, and so on.
I'd really love a new map as well, but the people making champs arent the people making maps. They have also been pretty abysmal with releasing new features. I think those are more than valid complaints.
Never happen, selling champs and skins is their money-maker. My only expectation for S2 is that they will up the ban count. My hope is they finally implement all those damn features from forever ago.

Of course they will never cancel making new heroes, they just wont be available for use in ranked until they are adopted at a start of a new season. I'm sure normal games will always have everything available.

That's actually completely incorrect. You can allow the game to be about that, but early aggression from a side lane with jungle support totally destroys enemy teams, particularly since most jungles (tanks aside) scale very well with gear.

A jungler needs help to get the kills, but a fed WW can not only kill their solo consistently, but can do pretty much any 1v2 and up to 1v5 depending on team comp / timing. I've pentakilled slightly less skilled teams who all thought, in a row, "Well, now he's at 30% HP, he cannot beat me with both my summoners up!" In fact, I can.
