Thinking about heading back to school for another bachelors. Back in '05 went pre-engineering failed out of that and joined the US Navy and now find myself a linguist. Basically its been 5 years since I have done any math but really would love to try again (now that I'm older and have some self discipline) at getting an engineering degree, not anytime too soon, mind you, but I'm not sure where my math skills are at and would love to find a test or some instruction on where to start again, I have a year or two before I need to take this seriously, but I would like to start working on this, I left off in college level calculus but I know I have forgotten plenty of that in the previous time.
Basically does anyone know of test I can take that would help me figure out what to study or courses that would help bring me back to where I was at?

Maybe you can find old tests of the AP calculus exams?
I think a lot of universities also have a test-out options for math, taking that might give you a good idea of how much calculus you remember. Although, they are mostly for current students (i think?) and may not be an option. Also might not be an option to test out of calc 1.
It's possible you might be overthinking this. I'm fairly certain that you will learn plenty of Math when you're actually in school.
No, when it comes to Engineering there is a certain level of familiarity you need to have with Mathematics before you even begin.
to the OP: Do you have any old calc / Differential Equations textbooks? Might be a good idea to dig them up and work through them. Other than that I'd recommend talking to some different Engineering schools. Tell them your position and I'm sure they would have a lot of advice about what kind of prep study you need to do.
