You must have missed the part where it WAS in read. Then I was corrected, and I read back through the Day 0 narration and discovered that we're not voting today, so I took the red out.
So I think I figured it out. We're ALL insane, except everyone THINKS they are sane. And then we all see each other as insane when we die, except in our little mason groups. Our mason groups see their own dead as sane, because we are under the impression that we are the only sane ones. But then we killed most of the staff early in a stroke of good(?) luck. Also Jackisreal is somehow important. And Daniant got killed but it was ok, because she was ok with it.

Is it bad that all I can think about now is playing Heavy Rain? I never played but watched my bf play parts of it and man, this narration definitely reminds me of that game.

From the Desk of Darth Vertroue Diplomat to the USA.
The sun finally peeked out through a hazy grey sky, but not before storms had their fun. Power lines went down, Cable TV went out, and the lone Interstate that passed by Phalla Township was flooded over. The trailer park over by the abandoned GM plant got it the worst when the winds briefly stopped in to play. Unhinged doors, shattered glass, and a few overturned homes were all some people had left.
Worse, Sheriff Marlin and two of her deputies went missing along with one of their police cruisers last night. The local gossip is that they got in an accident of some sort alongside the road. Folks are convinced that they’ll turn up right as rain any minute now. None of you really believe that.
They were murdered. Murdered because they were investigating the rash of homicides that have plagued the Township; you’re sure of it. With the confusion of the storm and the missing Sheriff, it’ll be days before any proper manhunt is resumed. You are not willing to wait.
If Phalla Township is to be saved, it’ll have to be saved by you.
