I grew up watching the older movies with my dad, so even though Pierce Brosnan was the current Bond Sean Connery will always be my favorite. Brosnans problem wasnt that he was bad its that the movies he was in were total shit with the exception of goldeneye. Casino Royale was a great refresh for the franchise but man did they tank that hard with Solace

The Goldeneye N64 game was my only Bond experience for most of my childhood. Easily not the worst choice, but I still haven't seen like, any of these movies.

I dunno, I enjoyed Quantum of Solace! Granted, it had a ridiculous name and its plot was nonsensical at best, but I feel it did its job quite well. It is a great movie to pop in when you just want to see some action! And the setpiece with the hotel in the desert was spectacular

    Fun fact.

    Bond has no siblings.

He also has tons of unprotected sex.

What I'm saying is, the smart money says Bond lies to avoid paying child support on his many, many bastards.

Daniel Craig is by far the best bond

Though early Sean Connery Bond is cool as well

I cannot stand Pierce Brosnan, simply for the fact that he is constantly a whiny little goose.

I've always been a Roger Moore bond, but there ain't nothin' wrong with Sean Connery

Yeah Pierce is a great bond, shame about his movies

Daniel Craig and his movies are awesome, but they're really apples and oranges compared to the originals, just a completely different style.

The old Bond movies are super campy, and I love them for what they are. Just don't go in expecting it to be like Casino Royale.

There's a ton of old Bond films on Netflix these days

Including the two best Bond films, You Only Live Twice and From Russia with Love

Some people might tell you these are not the best

Die Another Day was the last of the Brosnan Bonds and it was shit.

It's only redeeming moment was the sword fight between Bond and Graves.

Am I to assume that George Lazenby and Timothy Dalton being left out of the OP was intentional? Because, good show.

Order of best Bond for me:
    1. Craig (but only slightly)
    2. Connery
    3. Brosnan
    4. Moore

Goldeneye has some great Bond moments.

    "Sorry, forgot to knock."

"Kill her. She means nothing to me."

    and of course...

    "For England, James?"

    "No. For me."

    God. Damn.

Not forgetting the Q Scene in Goldeneye which is pure gold.

Sean Bean's Trevelyan is probably my favourite Bond villain.

In fact Goldeneye as a whole is one of the most cohesive and grounded of the series. Brosnan was a superb Bond and all the ancillary characters were great. Like Boris.

Casino Royale was a success in my mind because it followed the same sort of concept, focusing on the characters. I mean which recent Bond had the giant space laser and the invisible car? I can't remember anything else about that movie. Even Quantum of Solace fell down by being tripped up by the shallower aspects of the Bond series, like stunts and action scenes.

My favourite Bond moments are all dialogue. I think the series hits the best notes when it is less about some indestructible action hero and more about a globetrotting, glamorous secret agent winning through guile not guns.

    And I dislike ham.

I think I might need to rewatch Goldeneye, because the only part I remember is the part where Bond only has his slappers and Odd Job keeps killing him by hitting him in the knees because you forgot to crouch again goddamn it ahhhh
