I grew up watching the older movies with my dad, so even though Pierce Brosnan was the current Bond Sean Connery will always be my favorite. Brosnans problem wasnt that he was bad its that the movies he was in were total shit with the exception of goldeneye. Casino Royale was a great refresh for the franchise but man did they tank that hard with Solace
The Goldeneye N64 game was my only Bond experience for most of my childhood. Easily not the worst choice, but I still haven't seen like, any of these movies.

I dunno, I enjoyed Quantum of Solace! Granted, it had a ridiculous name and its plot was nonsensical at best, but I feel it did its job quite well. It is a great movie to pop in when you just want to see some action! And the setpiece with the hotel in the desert was spectacular

Royale and Solace back to back are a spectacular movie event. Also Olga Kurylenko being a badass.
Goldfinger is my favourite Connery film. So many iconic moments in it.

I love Craig.
It was such a breath air after The World Is Not Enough.
Or was the last movie the one with the Koreans?

I like to pretend that Pierce Brosnan, after making Goldeneye, jumped into a shark and died.

Although I will admit.
Brosnan is the guy that looks the most like Bond.

Oh shit, my terrible wording has allowed Tossrock to unearth my terrible secret!!
I suppose there's no hiding how terribly misogynistic I am, now. All women reading this, take off your shoes, get into the kitchen, make me a sandwich
All Daniel Craigs reading this: take off your shirt and meet me outside in three minutes
wait, what do you need those 3 minutes for
also Roger Moore is terrible and should not even be included in the OP

I approve of the thread title.
The line was delivered so perfectly.

Sean Bean's Trevelyan is probably my favourite Bond villain.
In fact Goldeneye as a whole is one of the most cohesive and grounded of the series. Brosnan was a superb Bond and all the ancillary characters were great. Like Boris.
Casino Royale was a success in my mind because it followed the same sort of concept, focusing on the characters. I mean which recent Bond had the giant space laser and the invisible car? I can't remember anything else about that movie. Even Quantum of Solace fell down by being tripped up by the shallower aspects of the Bond series, like stunts and action scenes.
My favourite Bond moments are all dialogue. I think the series hits the best notes when it is less about some indestructible action hero and more about a globetrotting, glamorous secret agent winning through guile not guns.

That might have made the movies more appealing.
And I dislike ham.
I think I might need to rewatch Goldeneye, because the only part I remember is the part where Bond only has his slappers and Odd Job keeps killing him by hitting him in the knees because you forgot to crouch again goddamn it ahhhh
...that's in the movie, right?

Fun fact.
Bond has no siblings.
He also has tons of unprotected sex.
What I'm saying is, the smart money says Bond lies to avoid paying child support on his many, many bastards.
Why I fear the ocean.
Royale and Solace back to back are a spectacular movie event. Also Olga Kurylenko being a badass.
Though early Sean Connery Bond is cool as well
"Waaaaaah, I never wanted to be Bond! I wanted to act!"
Fuck you, take my money and shut up about it.
Goldeneye is also the best video game that is based on a Bond film.
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.
But my fav might be Roger Moore, even though he's a bit un-Bond-like
Yeah Pierce is a great bond, shame about his movies
Daniel Craig and his movies are awesome, but they're really apples and oranges compared to the originals, just a completely different style.
The old Bond movies are super campy, and I love them for what they are. Just don't go in expecting it to be like Casino Royale.
Including the two best Bond films, You Only Live Twice and From Russia with Love
Some people might tell you these are not the best
They're wrong

It's only redeeming moment was the sword fight between Bond and Graves.
Order of best Bond for me:
1. Craig (but only slightly)
2. Connery
3. Brosnan
4. Moore
Die Another Day is the one with the Secret Asian Man.
They're moving ahead with production and keep announcing cast members
go watch The Matador
Brosnan is the guy that looks the most like Bond.
I'm sorry.
That came out in 2005.
Die Another Day was 2002.
So back into the sharkmouth he goes.
"Sorry, forgot to knock."
"Kill her. She means nothing to me."
and of course...
"For England, James?"
"No. For me."
God. Damn.
Not forgetting the Q Scene in Goldeneye which is pure gold.

It's actually
1.Connery
2.Craig
3.Brosnan/Dalton/Lazenby
4. Never Say Never Again version of Connery
72. Roger Moore
we'll make them see

proximity mines
the only way to multiplay
because clearly archives was the best
Yes, archives and proximity mines. My friends hated it, because I was the only one that could really memorize where I placed everything.
you clearly havent experienced placing proximity mines on the underside of those giant stone doors before
and on the awning above the stairs
this is actually no less ridicilous than any of the movies really
