I tried the mount and blade demo. If I don't have a lot of cash and should only grab one, which should it be? What makes Fire better than Warband better than the original?
Warband contains everything in the original + more, except whatever mods haven't been updated. Fire & Sword isn't out yet, so nobody can really say if it's better than Warbands.
While I can't speak about Fire and Sword, if you're debating between Warband and original, get Warband.
Warband is the original, plus a new faction (Sarranids), plus multiplayer, plus better graphics. A while back, most mods were for the original, but I believe most of the good ones have moved to Warband. So, at this point, there's almost no reason to get the original unless you really, really, really wanted to see how it was originally.

There's a difference between the Colbert Report and Bill O'Reilly. It's pretty obvious to me that in this thread, we are practicing the self-mocking "Uh-merkin" way, like the Colbert Report or The Onion. It's comedy. Even in the wake of something as serious as 9/11, The Onion went this direction. If anything, we are showing how stupid our awesome dudebro nation is at times. Especially these times. Sheesh.

Good news, found my Mount and Blade code from 2005, bad news, the installer for M&B 1.011 takes 8 hours on djiboutian internet. What other way can I get the installer?
