Pretty good description of the Minigun axlav game, UrQuan. I'd add that
minigun had plenty of time to add more cannons to his mineral line, which would have really helped. Axslav also had +1 armor on his Phoenixes by the time of the first major encounter, and then chose to focus down the void rays first, saccing most of his ground army, and then mopping up the colossus and stalkers after. Wheat does a pretty bad job of keeping tabs on observers (the units), which was kind of annoying. I wonder if casters can hotkey units?

Gretorp reminds me of one of those really boring, but still nice, guys I went to highschool with. You hang out with them for a bit because, hey why not?
Within a couple days all these little annoying traits become apparent and you suddenly can't stand the dude.
Look, Joe if you ever want a proof of concept about your promo I'll extend the same offer as Dhal and I'll make you a replay pack along the way of every game.
I've had that offer from several people, and my response is always the same: I'd like the accomplishment of doing it myself, and if i get that frustrated, and am utterly convinced that there is no way for me to move up, I'll buy another copy/try my last temp key.
I'm not convinced its impossible, just a little harder to move the MMR and confidence based on the number of games that I played.
Plus, as I keep saying, there is something obviously changed about the system in season 2, I don't know what it is, but its definitely different.
There is nothing different about the system, you just belong in Bronze. There is no conspiracy against your account and no MMR Hell that you're stuck in, and you're being a goose by continually implying there is.
They did actually change the cutoffs for some of the leagues in order to move more people upward, but that doesn't mean the system was broken. They just made the skill floors lower.
IdrA has always had amazing timings. I very seriously doubt he has much room to improve on those. His weaknesses have been, as far as I know, that he tilts relatively easily and has a rough time with a lot of pressure (especially in the early game). I think he's been getting better at fending off pressure and that contributes a lot to his recent completely amazing play.
Edit: sometimes IdrA is also criticized as being uncreative. I'm not sure that's warranted though.
You can interpret it in two ways. One way is that he is improving and doing better as a result, but he refuses to admit it because he's spent all this time saying that the matchup is impossible. The other way is that he really is just doing random shit, but is still beating some of the best Protosses outside of Korea, which is the same thing he accused Protosses of doing to Zergs previously.
Earlier I saw him proxy gate + cannon rush in a PvP. He had something like 7 cannons inside the opponent's base and had expanded. Then the opponent built up enough Stalkers to kill all the cannons, walk down to Artosis's natural and kill him.
So after watching Day9's 2v2 games today my friend and I decided to try feeder style 2v2 (silver league). With me as Zerg and him as Terran it works okay, but its easy for one of us to get crushed.
With me as Protoss instead of Zerg we seem to be steamrolling everyone. Mass blink stalkers anyone?
i was so looking forward to seeing min play tonight that i had my alarm set for 2 in the morning then i saw who he was up against and reset my alarm to it's normal time
"Well I have a nice advantage here, I'm just going to push out two colossus and now that I have more colossus than him I'll just take the gold base and get more ahead. He's getting ready to attack, let me get a nice concave set up, I'll just set everything up perfectly here and... I've lost everything."

sometimes I scout a thing and respond to it well and infer things and check other things and end up in a good spot
and sometimes I don't scout, or do and don't do anything differently at all.
Ugh. I'm having SO much trouble against zerg when they go banelings. I just don't have the micro capacity to manage my marines and my tanks well enough. Any pointers will help.

Potential solutions:
1) Get more tanks, and slow push. If you keep the marines near the tanks the tanks should be able to kill a lot of the banelings before your marines have to worry about them.
2) Thor shieldwall. Keep everything safe behind a big burly wall of Thors. Harder to do on maps like Xel'Naga.
3) Just go straight-up mech. No marines to worry about!
edit: I thought of a creative one I saw once!
Raven bombing. Get Seeker Missile and get 3+ Ravens. When the banelings start rolling in, fly the Ravens to intercept and drop Seeker Missiles on banelings when they're a little bit in front of the Ravens. Should intercept the banelings right as they roll in and blow up a ton of them. Might take some practice, but gets rid of a ton of banelings really quickly.

thor shieldwall is great. if they waste the banes on the thors you're in awesome shape, and if they don't you can still run the marines and let tanks do damage

But if he were amazing at both it would be kind of mindblowing.

He got sick of Zerg and figured he'd give the third race a try.
