Any tips? I get slightly supply blocked did that lose me the game or was it something else? Maybe I shouldn't expand at all and just warp in mass units? My read was a likely 3 rax expand since his unit count seemed low, I assumed he was going to pressure so I did focus on immortals and stalkers.
3-rax is not an expansion build. It's 'punch the other guy's face in and expand behind it'. Plan accordingly. You went gate-robo-gate-gate, which is okay, but:
- You scouted close positions last. Makes no sense whatsoever.
- You saw everything he was doing, including 3 tech labs researching EVERYTHING.
- Therefore, expanding is absolutely the last thing you want to do here.
You need to try to poke down those tech labs while they're researching, or build as many units as possible to hold him off, *or* start teching towards 1-base colossus if you think you can squeeze that in...but that was a marauder-heavy push, and mass zealot with +1 armor and good FFs should have given it to you just fine.

Well, you didn't start your warp-gate research until 1:10 after your Cybernetics Core finished. I'm no protoss player but that looked very wrong.
Yeah its a new build and very strange to me, I keep forgetting warpgate research. I think I actually do get robo first though. I think you are suppose to build 3 sentries from gateways though.
replays will give you the specific details, but numbers can give you the bigger picture, and show trends and improvements, in a much shorter amount of time.
There is nothing wrong with metrics to measure progress. There is nothing wrong with watching your replays to pick up on blunders.
I don't think there's a non-harsh way to say this, so I apologise, Joe, but I don't think you should be telling anyone what the best way to improve is.
As much flack as he gets lately for failing to beat top Koreans in ZvP, he's really good at this game.
Nexus cancel 5 gate? Newb strat, I'll hold it with spines started after you reached my base (?)
i think something that really appeals to people about idra is his mechanics are not only good, but they are fucking crisp
like, perfect mouse accuracy, no unwasted movements, almost no spam
even when its like 4 base
i mean, other pros are mechanically on the same like, core level as him (ie they can get the same amount of shit done in a similar amount of time)
but after seeing first person of a ton of high level dudes on streams and vods and such
idra just does it with such grace that its just really really really rad to watch his first person view
I don't disagree, but I felt that way to an even greater degree when I watched DongRaeGu stream. That guy is fast, and in the same efficient way that you described.
watching different koreans play was reallllllly neat
also, i wish in gsl they did those quick first person views every once in a while, those were always so fucking cool in bw, im sure the computers they are running could handle some light screen capture software running
Tyler: Patch intent is to fix PvP and it is going to affect PvT and PvZ, 2 months ago 4 gate was unstoppable now it is countered easily and the match up has evlolved.
Others: Gives protoss way more options.

It's going to make proxy 2gates very hard to hold off.
 Movin' on up to a deluxe bunker in the skyyy
Edit: Best TotP ever.
I'm finding that I'm really starting to struggle again in ZvP now that 'toss have caught on to FEs and a ling/bling/infestor composition. But what I'm curious about is what's the right response when both you and the Protoss have FE'd? Expand again? Cancel and try for a big roach push?

If they have terrible control, I've seen (TCL) that you can just stream roll them with 2 hatcheries worth of Speedlings.
lol at Moletrap and Doa wearing the same shirt and GSL badges.
Yeah the pink shirts are uh.. very pink. Not sure if want?
If they're going to have uniforms it might as well be something a little.. flashier? Something as cool looking as team jackets maybe. The shirts are loud, but don't have anything to say. SC2 fashion thread.
Oh god Doa. Asking the Street Fighter Announcer Voice Guy how he feels before he introduces IMNuts.
I was actually thinking about that earlier today "what if there was a player named Disappoint on team Incredible Miracle? Man, that T-Ara intro would be great!"
iEchoic's TvT style. Worth learning as a default TvT build for someone who is learning Terran?
it requires really great scouting/response and control... it's good but can be countered.
normally I'd say you're probably safer to stick to something standard BUT, it may just work for you. I never clicked with it myself but it's pretty unique. I say try it.

well I'm really bad at siege tank positioning, I just don't "get" it, and it feels like standard MMM is pretty bad vs anyone who goes tanks, so seems like dodging the issue entirely might be best.

Just constantly making rapid-fire intelligent decisions with really clean mechanics.

Hah, Vanvan is the only protoss left in code a. Not counting on him getting past ro8.
Play Terran and only build one barracks and one factory for the entire game.
