I love this game, but it is hard to be a part of honestly. I found someone holding my hand all the time to be really helpful, but as soon as I was ready to tackle I had no time and whenever I was on there were never any ops. then the people helping me weren't on and school and blergh

A magician gives you a ring that, when worn, will let you see the world as it truly is.
However, the ring will never leave your finger, and you will be unable to ever describe to another living person what you see.

I appreciate the idea of PI, as something that I guess you could do solo to fill time, when there are no ops going on. Lack of good group play, in terms of number of ops and the amount of time in them being action, was the biggest reason for me quitting, aside from the giant cliff of the learning curve.

eve is possibly the least addictive mmo in the genre honestly

the obnoxious thing about it is that so many people play it on the premise that it might be good one day and they want to get in on the ground floor. they don't actually like it righ tnow.

Yes, I have heard this, and I guess it's supposed to get revamped again in the coming update?

If I heard that they were making a really convincing effort to address the lag in larger battles, I think I would pretty much have to play the game again.

The very last time I played, I was excited to get geared up for tackling, got in on some sort of raid, spent like an hour travelling through 30 something jumps and waiting for people, only to arrive at the system and then get pretty much frozen in lag and blown up.

IT gave up after Molle got married and goons + reddit based alliance TEST decided to invade their space.

No idea what Anzac are up to though. Most of the dudes in IT that really liked playing are in an alliance called Raiden(dot) and fight alongside russians now.

To be more specific, we invaded IT space in Fountain. After repeating PR- in 6VDT-, IT Alliance fell apart without a single shot being fired in Delve.

Kind of an anticlimactic way to end the foreverwar.

Back when I was a carrier pilot I came into possession of a RISE account that I turned over to The Mitanni's people.

I once survived two DDs in a row in a Dominix.

I tried to get back into it but starting over after having been a cap pilot was just too much.

I'd say it's closer to: It's not necessarily a good game, but it's the best/only sandbox game right now. So if you like that kind of game, you're stuck.
