    There is no roof on my house. Debris everywhere. I am safe right now went to an apartment complex that was not damaged down the road.

    My car is tucked. My belongings are all ducked. I have a phone, my psp, and my laptop. Ands the cloths on my back. That's it.

    I understand the sentiment, but I'm not sure it makes any sense to directly engage a potentially fatal risk if it's not to avert other potentially fatal risk. Your old car might have been able to drive through a tornado, but I'm not so sure about the new one.
