I'm pretty sure the celtic assassin's victim is screaming, not because that he's about to die, but because he's about to get a [strike]face full of assassin wang[/strike] stabbed in the face by his third hidden blade.

Although maybe that's more for a weapon for an international super spy.

A silenced revolver in the 1800's. That would be strange, but this is AC, they could probably do it.
I'm currently loving AssBro on the PC in every way other than it's the most crash prone game I've played since Morrowind. I have yet to play it without it crashing couple of times in a 2-3 hour period of time (it crashed three times in one our tonight). The error messages are wholly useless, and no one else on any forum has had similar issues. That means it's related to something on my computer and I have no idea what it is. Everything in my computer is up to date as far as drivers go, but whenever I have Steam validate the game files it always finds something wrong with the AssBro installation. The only thing I haven't done is do a complete reinstall of the game primarily because having to redownload 11gb is a pain in the ass.

So, I'm playing through AssBro on 360 now and I decided Ezio should have a nice heram of lady assassins.
So I have to ask, are there only a limited number of character models (for example 9 male, 9 female) for recruits?
I have 6 females but numbers 5 and 6 were a pain to find. I kept running into dudes that needed to be saved.
I can only image (if I'm right about limited models) that # 7,8,9 are going to be a bitch to find.

I can't say for sure how many "models" there are for Assassins, but I can tell you that there is an unlock-able cheat (usable while replaying memories) that changes the Brotherhood to a female-only "Sisterhood". If you're willing to settle for that, you could save yourself some trouble.
How active is the MP community for Brotherhood on PC, does anyone know?
That MP looked really sexy when I saw it way back when but I couldn't really justify the purchase. Now it's in my price range but I'm iffy on the SP.
Your instincts are good! The multiplayer experience is, in fact, REALLY SEXY. Übergeek and I play somewhat frequently, but we haven't been able to find enough PA people to put together an organized team. I've had a great experience with MP even when I'm on my own against a bunch of randos, though. Add to that a really stellar single player experience (it has improved on its predecessor almost as much as 2 improved on the original), and I'd say you have a game well worth $25.
Feel free to PM me if you have specific questions, but I'd give Brotherhood a very very strong endorsement.

I can confirm that it's possible to recruit an all-female Sisterhood of Assassins without using the cheat.
I can't remember if they were all unique models, though.

I think hair color, at least, is variable within Assassins of the same model. So as long as you're okay with that.
my friend systematically killed all his henchmen that did not have the ninja-like face wrap. he wanted a full team of black-dyed ninjas he could summon, and that disperse quickly with smoke bombs.
sounds pretty dope
REALLY hope the brotherhood mechanics stay in for assrev, i love calling in someone else to do my dirty work

too bad the assassistants all default to Assassin White when they hit max level. Oh well...
Looking forward to seeing what sorts of Ottoman Assassins we can recruit.

I think the capes keep the colour you set the assassins to before they were promoted, don't they.
I may have been imagining it though.

This is true. Before the last 3 towers unlocked I assigned my girls to pairs based on different colors.
And they all have the capes based on the colors they had (same capes you get from the tailor).
Also, I got my Sisterhood. Took a LOT of riding around to various sites, but I have all 9. Now to keep them alive, as I've had two killed so far. One died when I did the "Kill both targets within 60 sec of each other" mission. I had her attack one while I went after the other. She fought valiantly but couldn't handle the target and 4 guards (the other 5 were assigned to contracts). The second died to my own incompetence. Both of us were fighting a guard near a scaffold, so I grabbed the guard and threw him. However the scaffold came crashing down on both of them.

Despite the game bugging out and giving me no sound, I just tried my first round of AssBro multiplayer on PC. Before the game crashed, I was 3rd/4th, about half as many points as the lead guy but still around the high end. This is insanely fun. Just gotta be ready to die, but trying to pick out likely suspects is a bitch. and attempting to always move slowly? Yeahh... the problem is the damned vertical takedowns, I swear.

I'm playing AssBro again. It's still fun. The combat isn't THAT easy. I have bad OCD though that I send my people on missions constantly so they can become masters. Only downside to this is that once they get there, you can't change their colors, which sucks sense this game has pretty great master colors. I liked Ebony, Emerald, and dark blue myself.
For some reason I can't get excited for AssRev. Maybe because its on a yearly chart now of games or it's Ezio again. I don't know.
Honestly, the forced stealth section of AC are the worst.
Assassin's in AC aren't ninja, they aren't about subtly.
They're about going "I JUST FUCKING STABBED A MAN IN BROAD DAY LIGHT! WHO WANTS SOME MORE!"
And then running away stylishly.
Stealth is also useful in getting close to the target.
On the other hand, when I managed to sneakily stab the fuck out of most of my targets in the first game, and then get away without a giant fight, I felt like the biggest badass in the world.
Combat in AC is more balanced, but you can still break it easily with a large medicine pouch.
That being said, if I have to use medicine at all in a fight, I'm doing terrible. I've gotten 500 points now on kill streak training.
For the life of me, I cannot master the kill streak training. I can only ever get up to 7 kills max before some fucker stabs me in the back. I try to counter, even in the killing animation, but it does no good.
Why desync me for being seen? Let me try to stealth it, but also let me run in there and start a big fight if I want to.
Assassins creed 1 was great in that regard.
Yeah, that's what I appretiated in AC1. You were given some flexibility, not, "DESYNC BECAUSE THAT'S NOT HOW IT HAPPENED!"
As others have pointed out, as you lose sync with Altair for getting hit, a perfect game involving how Altair 'really did it' would involve not getting hit a single time for the entire game.
The trick with continuing kill chains is to be watching for an enemy attack when you start one. Immediately, as soon as they fire one off, hold R1 and mash square like crazy. You should get a counter kill and can just continue to the chain.

Which is why the Templars engineered the Potato Famine to cut off the Assassin's supply.
This is how real assassins do it. Go to 3:00 for relevancy but the whole scene is amazing.
