Borderlands Game of the Year (SOLVED)

Hey all, I just got the Borderlands Game of the Year edition and I'm not sure when I should do the DLC packs. Obviously if you got them when they were released you probably just played them in the order they came, after you beat the game, but is there an ideal time to play them if you have them all at the start of a new game? Should I just beat the main game and then do them?

I would do them all after or near the end of the main game. Doing any of them before the main game is beaten (on your first playthrough) will mess up the level scaling. Except for Moxxi - you can do that whenever because it doesn't give you any XP at all. Also, story-wise, Zombies is a side-story, Moxxi doesn't have a story, and Knoxx and Claptrap both happen after the main story ends.

Be aware that Knoxx doesn't scale so after your first story run do that one first. If you do if after the others (aside from Moxxi) you will be way overleveled.

Stopping by Moxxi's during your first run will get you access to an item storage bank which can be nice.

Yeah. There's no reason NOT to go to The Underdome early. Go there at any time and drop off any guns you want to keep but don't want to have cluttering up your inventory.

Zombie Island and Claptrap's Robot Revolution will always scale to your level.

If you beat the 2nd playthrough, the main game will scale to your level after that (the so-called "Playthrough 2.5").

If you have the PC version, the first time you go to The Underdome (Mad Moxxi's) or Jakob's Cove (Zombie Island), you are going to need to input your DLC key code for each DLC respectively. You may need to alt-tab out of the loading screen and then alt-tab back to access the prompt for that.
