Getting Google Apps Back Onto My Phone
I Win Swordfightsall the traits of greatnessstarlight at my feetRegistered Userregular
I recently rooted and flashed my phone into CyanogenMod 6, because 7 wouldn't work.
I tried to flash multiple google apps packages onto my phone but none of them have worked, and so I can't access the market or anything.
I have an HTC Aria, and I'm downloading the package appropriate for my phone.
I load the .zip onto my phone, go into the recovery menu and select it, and it says successfully installed, but when I boot into Cyanogen, nothing is there.
I'd try using ROM Manager or similar to see what happens, first. And do a full wipe/reinstall if you didn't do so going from 7 to 6.

Yup, that's the one. And I've been trying ROM manager. I did a full wipe/reinstall going into six, and I suppose I'm just hesitant to do it again because I was too stupid to sync my stuff up to a google account, but I'll give it another go
I might just try to flash back to the stock, more trouble than it's worth and all that
