Good, everyone's here. Into my office, now. This is important.
As you may have heard, our undercovers have tipped us off. There's a group of moles in the Santa Barbara Police Department. They may be here even now, listening in. Needless to say, this is now our top priority. All other cases have been put on hold until we solve this thing. I've issued a full lockdown of the entire department to prevent anyone from escaping. We have to nail these guys, and we need to do it ASAP. Consider them armed and extremely dangerous.
Ah, good, Mr. Spencer, you and Mr. Guster will be heading up the investigation. If you want to get paid, you'll need to find every last one of these infiltrators.
Oh, the telephone? Yes, Mr. Mayor, I can assure you, the matter is well in hand. We have our best assets working on it.

General Overview
It's a PHALLA! By now you should be familiar with them, if not you should go HERE. It's the Penny Arcade version of Mafia. Head to the link for more information.
This particular Phalla is based on the USA Network show Psych, involving a fake psychic detective who solves murders for the Santa Barbara Police Department. The show thrives on the quick wit and interplay between the main cast. This Phalla will have neither.
This is the first Phalla I've ever run, so it'll be very straightforward. Also, that means go easy on me.
Voting
Each day, players must vote for one player to be placed under arrest by my, Police Chief Karen Vick. Vote for the player who you find most suspicious in bold red with "!vote for <player name>" or similar phrase. You may retract a vote by posting "!retract vote for <player name>" or similar phrase in bold lime or change your vote by making another one in bold red. The player who receives the most votes will be arrested.
Voting will close each day at midnight (12:00 AM) EST. If it's not in by 11:59:59 then it doesn't count.
Order of Operations
The vote goes first, then all secondary powers simultaneously.
Signing Up
Sign up with the phrase "I !sign up" or similar phrase in bold lime to ensure that your intent to play is acknowledged. Right now I am looking for 20-25 players, but in the (hilariously slim) odds that I get more, I will consider up to 30. You may also !RESERVE UP IN BOLD MAGENTA.
Inactivity
It is expected that players make at least two posts and a vote each day to be considered sufficiently active (one post can include your vote post). Inactivus hungers, and I will be ruthless. Failure to meet these requirements once will result in the issue of a warning. Thereafter, any (even non-consecutive) failure to meet these requirements will result in your replacement. If there's no suitable replacements, that role is removed from the game entirely.

Ask me questions in BOLD ORANGE. I respect the right to deny you precious information for whatever reason I see fit.
Other Rules
Standard Phalla rules apply: no sharing of host-provided PMs via screenshots and direct quotation. The same goes for personal pages - no screenshots or sharing of links. However, information may be shared indirectly, such as through rephrasing. No anonymous contact is allowed. All messages must be traceable to a player in the game.

Are there gonna be named roles and will the mafia at least have cover (name)roles or will it just be villagers + Shawn, Gus and Company? With the cover roles for the mafia being vanillager?
There will be named roles. The mafia will not have named roles. I may change my mind and give meaningless names to the mafia if I'm feeling whimsical tomorrow but they will be worthless and unrelated to the show. There will be a Vanillager role post in the OP.
Will there be any neutrals or psycho killers? Or are you saving Yin and Yang for next season?

Villager Role PM:
A POLICE OFFICER! You might be a beat cop, or a meter maid, or maybe a detective. But you don't have a name. Still, this situation is serious, and there's lives at stake. You need to help diffuse this situation before it gets worse.
To that end, Chief Vick has begun opening up her office for people to come in. Every day, you must VOTE for someone to have Chief Vick arrest.
