A Classical Guitar Piece/A punk Song with Tapping in it
So obviously I have two separate questions so I'll divide my post up.
1. I'm taking a Performance Analysis Class is college next semester. I already took it last Semester and preformed Prelude 999 in Dm by bach. I'm not much of a classical guitarist but I think I preformed reasonably well. I'm now stuck picking a new piece but without the background to give me a lot of options. Can anyone recommend me a piece? Something Longer but maybe a little easier? I was thinking I could preform another bach Prelude and then the Fugue it goes into.
2.On the more modern side of my Guitar education I have resolved to teach myself a few new guitar techniques over the summer. I've found its easier to learn something if I learn a song that includes it. I want to learn to tap but I'm not a fan of Metal(most of the time) and can't stand Van Halen(minus his work on Beat it). It needn't strictly be a punk song but I'd like suggestions of songs with tapping that don't fall into those categories.
1. I can't think of any classical guitar pieces that are both longer and easier than the Prelude 999. If I were you I'd just grab a big ol book of lute suites, and read/listen through them until you find one you think is doable.
Bach has loads of stuff to check out, there is plenty to find. I'd recommend just browsing on YouTube for ideas. Bach can be challenging though, but very good stuff.
