when I was 4 or 5 I fell down while pushing a go cart with another kid in it and tore out the finger nail of my right middle finger. That hurt quite a bit I guess, I think still know exact details of that day because of the pain.
I know how I went to get the go cart, I remember how the kindergarden looked like, I remember that it was autumn and exactly WHERE in the kindergarden it happened. I remember how the kindergarden teacher took me to the hospital in her own car asap, and how the doctor told me "to be a brave indian" when he put the disinfecting solution on my bleeding finger, and how the doctor looked.
I do not however remember the pain itself, not even a little
I fell down some stairs once and bit right through my bottom lip.
My brother did the same thing when the car we were in got hit on the passenger side and we were span around a few times into a wall.. I still can't believe that I only came out of that with a slight concussion, him with his "biting through lip" thing and a few bruises -- the cars were both totalled.
SporkAndrew on
The one about the fucking space hairdresser and the cowboy. He's got a tinfoil pal and a pedal bin
I ended up going to the local A&E a little while ago due to a single grain of sand...
Had got some grit in my eye earlier that evening and one piece lodged right in the very front of my lense and just wouldn't budge.
I was going to wait till the next morning and go to the optician but my eye got more and more sore, went to A&E and sat around for about 2 hours, then, just as I go in to see the nurse the piece of grit dislodges.
That was quite irritating, though luckily it didn't damage my lense and all I had to do was put some cream in my eye everyday for a month.
Still, what a silly reason to have to go to hospital.
