Am I reading this right?
tanks have higher dps in tank mode, vs siege mode?
Ground DPS:
14.4(+1.9) (Mobile)
11.7(+1) (Siege)
Bonus:
+10 (+1) vs Armored (Mobile)
+15 (+2) vs Armored (Siege)
Range:
7 (Mobile)
13 (Siege)
so siege gives you splash and higher range, but if you're already inside someone's main, and/or versus large units that can already fire back, it's better to fight in tank mode?

Tanks have higher single target DPS in tank mode, yes. But they lose the range and the splash which can be a big deal.
It's why tanks charging siege lines doesn't always end as horribly as the caster usually seems to expect.
somehow they managed to make sc2 tanks cost more, take more supply, do less damage and still nerfed after release
It's because of smart targetting. Old siege tanks used to blow their load on a single zergling then get downed by the wave. New tanks can cluster up and still do maximum damage. Coupled with the fact that everything becomes a deathball in SC2, it means they're much more powerful.
so much of whether you come out on top of this games tends to feel like who has control. If you can control the pace of the game, when you engage, and positioning, you'll likely win. too often I feel like I don't have any control and are forced to play by the whims of my opponent, and I'm not sure what I could do to fix that.
I think it might be because I rely so heavily on either some sort of deathball or a timing push. I guess I just never feel...safe with toss armies unless they're one massive ball. It might be because I feel like its really hard to successfully escape from encounters due to stim and creep. More than that though, it feels like my army is made of paper unless I've got overwhelming numbers.
edit: of course, this is just from my end. I'm not saying toss armies are weak or anything
That was some pretty good play by Sen. Never looked vulnerable to anything, great econ, good late game composition and micro for dealing with that deathball.

I made a game! Hotline Maui. Requires mouse and keyboard.
For all you streamers out there using XSplit, R1CH on TL has figured out how to get multi-core x264 processing working with it. This will only be a benefit to people with quad core (or greater number) CPUs. The benefit should be much smoother framerate and being able to increase the quality of your stream.

Thank god, I am testing this out tonight with my 6 core and hopefully will be able to get my stream up to even better than the 720p, or at least 720p at 30fps instead of low 20s. I will post my results later.
Terran best at everything forever! Drewbie's micro was pretty meh, but getting that position on Crossfire is incredibly hard to stop. Especially after that awesome creep spread was cleaned up.

I know R1CH through another forum and he is really cool and an absolute wizard at this internet thing. He's done a few other big projects outside of TL too that have been really awesome.

so much tension and the players are really playing for so much considering the giant money disparity between code s/a

And they're still amazing position pieces.
splash is good though, no question
but then, if you're fighting immortals / stalkers, better to go tank mode?
if you're fighting ultras, tank mode too?
unless you have some really good leap frogging, the siege range will just give you one extra shot?

and if youre up against multiple immortals unless you emp them or something it doesnt matter :P
unsieging against zerg at virtually any point is not a good idea, even ultras if they get to your tanks they walk over them you need a deep siege line

i picked sen,drewbie,idra,socke,boxer
i feel these are right
I think Zenio v Drewbie will be your biggest hurdle.
Not on the same server at least :P
whatnow?
I love how they're embracing this
Yeah, but they have to be microed really well. If they aren't, you can just stim some marines into them and clean it up. You can get air support, etc.
edit: There they are! better late than never
