So uh, I don't know how I feel about this. The original Fright Night is a masterwork of cheesy 80s horror, I am having a really hard time reconciling it with Chekov and McLovin vs. Colin Farrell.
ALSO WHERE THE HELL IS PETER VINCENT?
If you guys haven't seen the original Fright Night then WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU it stars Chris Sarandon, Roddy McDowell and the dude from Herman's Head go rent it now
I'll wait.

The original Fright Night is excellent. This is going to be another terrible remake most likely.
It's actually when you go for years with everyone telling you a movie is the best thing ever and then you actually watch it and realize they must have been watching it through the old nostalgia filter because it kinda sucks

UGH
I ain't speaking to the integrity of this movie but he's pretty great
vs
But it dosen't work without an awesome Peter Vincent
That said this one will almost certainly suck, but let's be honest because the original one was kinda dumb anyway
It is like the pinnacle of cheesy 80's horror, along with Lost Boys
They suffer from what I call Goonies Syndrome
Maybe not AS fun as the original
But definitely worth a rental

Plus, I've been liking Colin Farrell's film choices as of late
Terrified. I had no idea it was campy horror. That poster just... brr.
