He's about as perfect a fit for Beast as Patrick Stewart was for Xavier.

Wolverine teaches kids how to fight and also how to be pimps.

Seriously though, he's like a father figure to the young ladies.

They all need a little Wolverine in their lives as long as they ain't over the height limit.

Also, Wolverine is the guy everyone leans on to do their dirt, and the guy they call on to finish shit.

Just read the last issue of Uncanny X-Force if you want an idea.

Wolverine lives in a world of violence. Even though time and again he's tried to get away from it. Motherfucker is a magnet for that shit. He's really a character you can pity. Even with the crazy healing factor, possibly immortal life, kick ass skills and a metric fuckton of friends.

Oh and the whole unbreakable skeleton and foot long claws strong and sharp enough to cut through nearly anything.

    And that goddamn berserker rage.

    edit:

Can't forget about his insane senses. Sometimes that shit makes him a predator. If Daniel Way is writing him anyways.

    Jason Aaron really gets Wolverine

the .1 issue he just did was perfect. Wolverine's new girlfriend tries to throw a huge surprise Birthday party up at Logan's cabin in Canada. Invites a whole bunch of superheroes, gets them to look out for him as well as destroy any scents or clues to the party itself.

Logan ends up getting dragged into an ordeal with two crazy ass redneck cannibals and misses then entire party

comes home shirtless covered in blood, etc.

    sniffs inside the cabin

    looks at a vomit pile

    "...was Deadpool here?"

I think it was Keiron Gillen's formspring where I read that Aaron had Wolverine plotted out for years to come.

That makes me happy. Wolverine goes to hell was excellent. I loved all of Weapon X. All of his other issues and story arcs were great and the aftermath of the hell arc, too.

Looking forward to more of Wolverine being himself. Aaron really knows how to tap that shit.

He did the same thing with his Ultimate Cap mini. That shit was excellent.

Wolverine #5.1 of the recent volume.

Part of Marvel's Point One initiative. To let new and old readers jump in to a book and get a good feel for it. Wasn't bad overall, but not always what they set out to do. According to some at least.

Also, pretty much every superhero in the world gets invited. Girlfriend says "Is this everyone?"

cut to Avengers Mansion, all of the lights are out.

Spider-Man walks down the dark hallways "Hello? Hellllooo? Man, where IS everybody tonight?"

Here is a not-funny page that is also awesome, basically buy Aaron's Wolverine.

    Gillen's formspring is great.

Remember when someone asked him who'd win in a fight, him or Aaron?

And Gillen brought up their independent comics.

Scalped: Brutal murder and violence on an Indian reservation

    Phonogram: Scene kids mope.

Concluding by stating Aaron would absolutely slaughter him.

    I love the MGK edits

Mostly because they are actually funny

But the best one ever isn't Cap giving Sally Floyd shit (though that is fantastic) but the one where all the Green Lanterns are sitting round a table in the cafeteria on Oa and Kyle busts some lyrics. i laughed myself silly.

But seriously, X Men First Class looks great, really am pumped for that.

    why Angel and Azazel, though

two of the worst characters in X-Men history

also how you gonna have First Class without Warren Fucking Worthington

So there is a character in X-Men now named Angel who isn't Warren Worthington III? That is kind of sad!

Looks like a good script with not enough budget.

Or rather, the entire budget went to the CG for that submarine scene and the rest of the CG is kind of terrible looking. Also a really dumb looking Magneto helmet.
