I wish you people would fucking label what video the link is. I'm gonna want to watch these again and fuck guessing which one it is
just middle-click and read the tab title
Why should you have to? If someone wants you to watch a video, they can at least have the courtesy to tell you what you're about to spend another chunk of your download allotment on.
This is one of the reasons I stay away from the youtube thread - every second person posts unlabeled links, sometimes even without any other text in the post.

I'm pretty sure I watched most of the videos in here, and checked the ones I didn't watch completely - so I'm sort of surprised the OK Go videos didn't show up in here. Music's so-so, but I love watching their choreography.

Okay, now I'm addicted to searching for all the videos I've ever thought were noteworthy.
Switchfoot - Stars (Could've been cleaned up more in editing I'd think, but still. Rocking out in torrential rain with mixed shots of playing underwater? Win.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFtYoLWFF-k&NR
As far as Tool's videos go, I prefer the one for "Prison Sex," personally.

Meant to ask you Poorochondriac - which part of that "My Love" video are you talking about that you can't figure out? The whole ending sequence where it starts facing him, tilts above-diagonal, then down beneath him?

Yeah, that part. I can't see any cuts, nor does it really look CGed, nor does he appear to be on wires. Driving me fucking nuts, man.

It's definitely a nice shot - and if I had to guess I'd say he was standing in some glass room (soft edges) with green/blue screen all around him. That's the only way I could think of it being shot without any special effects aside from the white room being edited in.

I pondered the glass room angle, but it seems there would be something passing the screen when the camera dropped to beneath the floor. An edge of some sort. Or at least some visual distortion on JT himself.

Hmm, perhaps. I thought of the edge part - so if it is glass it would've been either an entire wall/floor with a long curve that they shot through (which would seem to be setting themselves up bad for that distortion) or even just some perfect sphere that he was inside. The perfect curve would keep the distortion from ever changing between different angles of view I'd think. Then again I can't exactly say I've shot a lot of videos through glass at all, much less like that.
