Thanks, it makes me really happy to know that other people are enjoying it and/or getting some use out of it! I'm currently trying to think of a good way to make my commentary more entertaining since it's kind of dry and informative, but not very fun.
from what ive read 'pc bangs' over there are super popular but blizzard charge a fee for each hour sc2 gets played in them so it hasnt been popular
also it has colossus

That's how World of Warcraft works too if I understood what my cousin was saying correctly. I speak shitty Korean and he speaks shitty english. It's a lot of fun! I think that's how most things operate since you don't play at home, you just play at the bangs like you mentioned, and so you just pay for the hours you're there.
A side note, if you want to find people who chainsmoke and play lineage for literally days on end to sell items and make a living, go to a Korean pc bang! You will find these people!
Did not realize that this was my week for WFC, thought I was going next week. I just reformatted my PC, so I should have SC2 back up and running by tomorrow so I can start fielding challenges then. Hopefully I'm not going to just get stomped by a bunch of Diamonds and Masters!
Also, finished watching the TSL finals tonight...just amazing.
Feel bad for Chill though.
If it makes you feel any better you can stomp on me. I'm probably down in copper league after taking a 6 month haitus to play League of Legends.
Not that it's stopped me from watching SC2 tournaments and day[9]. But I'm looking for an excuse for this game to be less of a spectator sport for me.
Hahaha, oh god. Just like Artosis, Jinro doesn't recognize the Nuclear Launch Detected message in Korean. He just lost an entire mineral line. I loled. His camera panned over it just as the nuke landed.
School's done, my computer is back from the dead and I'm finally back online! Hope to jump more into playing some games with you guys, just got promoted to Platinum. Also, I've been working on setting up a stream using XSplit, so if you need someone to stream/cast for CSL, I may be able to help with that.

I would like it if those not interested in playing in the tournament could cast for the CSL, as our regular casters Enigma, Kambing, and kedinik are three people who I'd love to have actually playing.
Once again, please don't be discouraged from entering as a lower-league player! (Plat->below) Your participation is still greatly welcomed and encouraged.
@MNC Dover - when you get a chance, could you put the tournament in the OP and info about it in the title? Cheers

i like these ideas but i just can't get over the bad feeling i get when i read that he wants to call his mod that makes a game handle something more like a different game a 'pro mod' as if this game is not worth playing competitively

splitting your units requires micro though which can be impressive in some situations... if units didn't clump doesn't that drastically weaken banelings? and remove one of the shining spots for micro in a game bw fans say has none?

It might be you, however there is a trend of calling mods promod and it makes a lot of people want to play it just because of the name. I feel it is sort of like the HD trend in selling monitors / video cards.
CS promod which make CSS more like CS1.6 if I'm not mistaken. I don't know how well that took off however.
The most notable would be the CPMA mod for Quake 3 (Challenge ProMode Arena). Which was fucking baller as shit.

If not for the broodlords I think Tails could have actually made a comeback there.
It did look pretty close, but I think the zerg was just too far ahead in economy to beat (unless there were some epic bad choices made).
Well, a stalker/sentry army with 5-6 immortals is pretty impossible for roaches to beat, and he was even on upgrades which means a pure hydra army also wouldn't be any good
ultras would also suck
if the zerg player had overestimated his position and attempted to win with 5srrrrrrrrr roach spam, he would have lost, nearly guaranteed.

Word on the street is that SC2 did poorly enough in Korea for Blizzard to give up and lower the BW license fee, more or less.

Also, Destiny playing toss on his stream, interesting

And man, first look at the casters, I thought I was white. Damn.
Do they wear sunscreen or just drink it?
maybe I just didn't understand his goal.
.....
Dude has been playing this game very well.
e: This "you can't individually micro stalkers or see my army count" overlord play is really smart.
Manner changelings heh.
But actually bringing queens and having units under broodlords is so refreshing o_O

It was a response.
I can read neither the mineral count nor the food count on the LQ stream so I'm not going to argue the specific point; the guy played really well.
