Help me find this song!

Lawful Evil

No title, no artist, no lyrics come to mind - I only remember the music video.

• It's an old pop/rnb song that was aired around the late 90's/early 2000.
• It had a fast beat.
• The artist was female, sounded like Missy Elliot/Macy Gray.
• The video was filmed backwards, and the singer had to learn the song backwards to sing it.

So far, my search was yielded me nothing - Googling music videos filmed backwards failed, and even TVtropes had a trope listed but it wasn't there. Help me H/A!

"Work It" by Missy Elliott has parts of the song (and video) reversed, but not the whole song. Is that what you're thinking of?

Nope. I remember watching an MTV commentary (long time ago) about it saying that the entire song was filmed and sang backwards.

It was fun watching "Work It" again though.

So you're sure it wasn't a guy. Specifically Mute Math? Because that's the only full Music Video recorded backward that I know about (not that I know a lot).

It's called "when I see you". Its by Macy Gray...I worked on the video...not as much reverse was used as was shot...but a good video none the less.
