Really, really beginning to wonder.
In order to determine whether this country is 'worthy,' you must find the deceivers in your midst and oust them from your group.
I still believe there is one deceiver amidst our group.
The Acquaintance.
It was he who brought us here. It's his game that we play. And he has been the only one that Truth has directly addressed.

Gah, even more information laying out in the open.
The enemies you will be facing are all working to further the interests of The Enemy of Truth. The Enemy of Truth is, of course, a lying and evil man, so he may not have their best interests at heart.
So demons, if you do exist, perhaps you should give pause to a systematic elimination of the village to curry favor with this Little Demon. I doubt you'll win The Game even if you do eliminate the rest of us.
There is a larger manipulation at play here. But we already knew, even if we're not acting like it, that this wasn't a standard mafia vs village phalla.
Also want to point out that I had mentioned not choosing, and the narrator's reply was that by so doing the acquaintance would choose for us.
Which, I guess could be misdirection, but I think if we don't vote, he'll just kill someone at random.
Edit: I do think that there is a twist here, I just don't see it yet.

While it's been specifically stated that the plague is here to stay, and that we can't avoid voting, I've yet to see there be a specific ruling on any votes that have been directed at The Acquaintance.
With so little else to go on and the knowledge that apparently avoiding the topic of potential mafia members due to uncertainty will potentially lead to my own demise:

Not one single time has he killed one of our own. Every single time it has been one of us. The one time he raised his blade against us, he was struck down, rebuked by The Truth.
I think i am going to do some research for a suitable target.
