    Edit: Also, the courtroom scene in the beginning is fucking ridiculous when Harvey Dent gets acid thrown on him and you see Batman in full outfit jump from the benches to ruin the gangster's shit.

    I normally don't have a problem with trailers that show a lot of the story

    but jesus that was just a summary of the entire movie, wasn't it

    plus while "The emerald energy of willpower" and "the yellow energy of fear" can work in comics they sound super goofy when used in live action.

    They should have just had the rings powered by willpower, not that the green light was actually willpower itself.

    So lemme get this straight: his ring is fueled by willpower.

    And he fights bad guys whose energy source is fear.

    Right. This will garner comic books ("graphic novels") a lot of legitimacy as an art form, that's for sure.

    This is like saying that GI Joe will discredit film as an art form.
