So apparently, according to Rush rex Grossman was being criticsized because he is a white quarterback. It certainly isn't because he is a slightly more fortunate version of Kyle Boller. It certainly isn't because he isn't that good. No, according to Rush it is because he is white. And the media hates white people.

I remember this guy who went to highschool with us. We called him the pickled baby. He had no facial hair, thin wispy eyebrows, and a really small head. It was like somebody pickled his head while the rest of his body became large and fat.
He used to watch my friend Zack undress after gym.
The other week we were walking through Target when I caught a glimpse of him. He saw us. "Do a barrel roll" I muttered as we swung into a side aisle to avoid having to interact with him.

NPR's pretty good.
They also occassionally have fuckawesome music, too.
edit: and yeah NPR is really great. Weekends are the best for NPR, I think.
The only "talk show" that won't get you worked up anymore is Car Talk.

WBAL buddy. Seriously, at least Ron White will admit that Iraq has been a disaster and No Child Left Behind is the worst thing ever in the world. But he will fall into that category a lot of the time.
I listen to NPR. I know I know, but I got my Dad the other day. In Baltimore some black professor said that there needs to be a concensus among the balck candidates for mayor of the city or else they will run the risk of having ::gasp:: a WHITE mayor of Baltimore again (O'Malley whom is now Governor.) The regualr radio gave him a pass. My Dad was all, "if a white person said that rar rar rar rar rar (My Dad is not a racist he just can't stand double standards) NPR ripped him a new one in various segments. My Dad then said, "well who listens to NPR?" I relpied, "I do."
He shut up.

Eh, he sort of has a point because I agreed with him a little with the McNabb thing...but Grossman really does suck ass. I don't know. This really is a stupid debate.
Just think, one day White Christian Males will be able to own businesses, get bank loans, buy a home, and play in the Major Leagues.

Dude this isn't reverse discrimination. Rex Grossman isn't good. Rex Grossman had a quarterback rating of ZERO one game. Discrimination of all kinds of bad. But to say that the sports media is dumping on Grossman because he is a white quarterback, while the man he is playing against is ALSO a white quarterback and considered the best quarterback of his generation is ridiculous.
And it is shit like THAT that makes actual cases of discrimination get overlooked because some blowhardt like Limbaugh keeps crying wolf.
And to say McNabb is overrated, thats another story. Personally I think he is. But he is LEAGUES better than Grossman. Took a team to 3 consecutive NFC Championship games and won his division at least a couple times in that span.
He may be overrated, but I think that has more to do with the nature of Philadelphia fans, the size of the market he plays in. Conversely, look at Byron Leftwhich - aint no media fawning over him. But by Rush's argument he gets the benefit of the doubt because he is black, which he doesn't because he has been a disappointment. Balck or white.
