Is that Animal Soccer just a show, and not even a game?
It has painting and jigsaw "games" too. The "games" apparently come on a regular computer CD.
This is one of many Phoenix Games delights that are simply a shitbox cartoon and a few jigsaw puzzles slapped onto a CD-ROM. It's not even a traditional blue backed PS2 CD. I like how one guy does the voice of every character, it's an added bonus mini-game of trying to guess who's supposed to be talking, as it never quite matches up to the MS Paint type animation! There's a weird cut bit sort of near the end, Windows Movie Maker decided to have a bit of a cry, but you only miss about four seconds of stunning footage~
I got an email back from Legal! Phoenix Games' details are being passed over to the VP the department and also, for some reason, to the Anti-Piracy department.
I'm willing to wager that they are still laughing about this one as they prep for a lawsuit.
I would still love to get my hands on "WHITE VAN RACER" That just looks so terrible that it is awesome.

Personally, I'm amazed that they even could get the other vans to drive to the goal.
Squirmy, I do. But as someone who grew up playing the THPS games until skate came out, that hurts on a far more personal level than I ever thought possible.
Wait. Not many game publishers bring us so much joy. So wait a minute here guys.
Is Phoenix Games still the World's Worst Game Publisher?!
Oh no! The moral disputes within my head!
But in contrast, this is something that worries me, too. Obviously, there's some shameless copyright infringement going on, and being slapped over some of the worst things ever to be made, then called games, in existence. But at the same time, if we should ever lose Phoenix Games, I think I would be a little bit sadder on that day. Nothing else brings me quite the same joy as browsing their catalogue of abominations.

Probably a good time to note that I reported the company to Disney's Legal team, then..

Yeah, I saw it was reported. I do still secretly hope that they either they get through unscathed, or someone else pops up making games just as bad, because I would sorely miss the comedy.

What for, specifically?
Well, I noted that they were using extremely similar character design, but I did point out the rather blatant use of a piece of Kingdom Hearts art on their Peter Pan cover.
So, when I went into the Gamestop yesterday I saw a rack display at the register with Rig Racer 2 and plenty of other quality titles from Bold Games/Data Design Interactive. I was eerily drawn to them but common sense kept me for purchasing any of them.
It doesn't help that I keep imagining Kaz Hirai going "Rig Racer! Riiiiiiiig Raceeer!"
"That is the one you wanted, isn't it, grandson?"
"Uh, yeah. Thanks. "
Wow, that's Rig Racer 2. Which means they must have made a Rig Racer that was successful enough to warrant a sequel. Oh, wait, this is Phoenix Games. I forgot they like to make sequels to games that don't exist. My bad.
I laughed so hard at the Gamespot video review. Then so did the people I grabbed in my group at uni.

it's not that great a review, and the footage is hardly stellar, but the 'infinite reverse' bit is demonstrated faaar better than Navarro's review, at about 3 minutes in.
Dog: I found the ball
Panther: And then you didn't let me play with it
D : Yeah, thats right. Cuz you can't shoot, just shoot it everywhere
P : Thats not true you're just mad cuz I can shoot the ball further
D : No you can't
P : I can
D : No
P : Yes
D : No

I messaged the guy who put these videos up and he said he'd re-recored a high-quality version of Animal Soccer World. He'll be getting back to me within the next few days.

I can't wait.
When you get them, you've gotta Stage6 those bad boys.
The very first thing I read, on the company profile, was "Phoenix Games Ahead of it's Time".
If you're a UK developer and can't use the English language properly for the heading on your "about us" page, then I don't want to see how well you can make games.

We don't wanna scar him
these games could cause deep psychological harm to him and ruin his reviewing skill.
oh lord one of you people
EDIT: Unless you mean the guy which is kind of pointless as the copyright defaults to the company.
If I saw this and Hamster Ball on my buddies shelf, I don't know if we could still hang out together ever again.
The review would just consist of video from the game with no voice over.

That's just painful..

Yes but wasn't Big Mutha Truckers actually a decent game? What 'm talking about is downright horrible.
'BIIIIIG MUTHA TRUCKA ONLY NINETEEN-NINETY-NINE!!!'
THE BALL NEVER STOPS BOUNCING.
hold me.
They would try and release it as a game.
With a jigsaw puzzle, memory quiz, and coloring book.
