Party Down is an American comedy television series created and primarily written by John Enbom, Rob Thomas, Dan Etheridge, and Paul Rudd that aired on the Starz network in the United States.
This half-hour comedy follows a Los Angeles, California, catering team for the titular company. The sextet of aspiring Hollywood actors and writers, as well as drifting lost souls, work small-time catering gigs while hoping for their break or some positive change in their lives. Each episode finds the team working a new event, and inevitably getting tangled up with the colorful, affluent guests and their absurd lives.
Yay, onto the Great Depression the America "documentary" thing the history channel did. Oh runs on the banks. It is fascinating to watch. It is so similar to what happened a few years ago.
Paul Rudd is pretty great. I enjoy his performances in most movies I watch.
Also, the run on the banks. Man, that whole thing pissed me off, especially once I caught a rumor that one of my senators may have started a run on a bank here that effectively killed the bank, and got it bought out.

The run in 2008 was nothing compared to 1930. All the states still had banks left and people got their money thanks to the fdic.
Now they are going over the construction of the Hoover Dam. Man that was a fucking awesome construction project when you look at it. Also early and under budget. So freaking awesome.
Oh well, I will just keep staring at the old awesome and dream I guess.
Like, I'm starting to understand why MLP: FiM is gaining a cult following. I'm started to become comfortable watching one episode at a time on my on demand service. Is there a website that has all the old episodes of FiM?
Hey Jacob you weren't really clear - Elldren's not in, but are we doing M&M tomorrow? I remember last session you gave her character an out, and if everyone else can make it that'd be neat. I understand if you want to delay it though.

You know if you sit and watch stuff like this this documentary thing you get a bit of patriotism. Because it is full of the awesome stuff that America did.
Actually today was kind of one of those days. Being the memorial day game at the stadium they brought in a few hundred of the troops from Fort Carson. A good amount of those just came home this week. Was really really nice of the team to do that. That and the p-52 fly overs.
I feel like I haven’t listened to it enough to have any strong feelings about it, but I like what I’ve heard. Feels closer to Hello Nasty than To The 5 Boroughs.

Oh, really? Closer to Hello Nasty? I still own Hello Nasty. Never really did pick up To The 5 Boroughs. Didn't have money at the time and am lazy now.
Well that's good. Is "Make Some Noise" a close appromixation of how that CD is?

I remember one time when I was kid, I was watching TV and some journalist was interviewing some guy named Jesus for something and my mom had to tell it was "hey-zeus" not "Je-sus" because I would kinda be like "Mommy, why is that man named Jesus?" I was about ten at that time.
