Man, if it's just straight action with sparse dialogue, that might be awesome.
Same for OMAC.
But, you could have straight-up action, with a little extra depth and an interesting hook. With the added bonus of seeing Hawkman the samurai, Hawkman the cowboy, Hawkman the Zulu warrior, or Hawkman the viking.
There's nothing to say that Daniel won't come up with a really cool, interesting new high concept for Hawkman. I mean, this could be a whole book about Hawkman finding old Thanagarian police equipment buried in the desert, and his mind slowly becoming unwound due to contact with the semi-sentient Nth metal, driving him mad as he continues to use the alien arms chest.
But c'mon, it's Tony Daniel. It's going to be the worst combination of dumb and boring.
Highlights:
Superboy isn't surly or brooding. He's a funny guy but is going through a weird time in his life right now. Is very intelligent, but processes information differently than most people.
The Teen Titans aren't a "team". They have no leader, no roster. They are just a bunch of teenagers that hang out with each other and have a common cause most of the time.
Tim and Conner won't be superbros at the start, but they respect each other and will become close friends.
Bart and Tim have a younger brother/older brother relationship.
Roy Harper's marriage and child are no longer a part of his backstory. He was GA's sidekick, a Teen Titan and an addict. Notably, his relapse is no longer a part of the character. He is stone cold sober and his addiction is something he has to deal with. However, he is described as more upbeat and fun than his recent characterizations.
Outlaws is also not a team so much as it is Jason and some people who follow him around.
Roy and Jason have a rivalry/friendship. Each looks at the other and thinks "Man I am glad I didn't turn out like that"
Aqualad was originally going to be a member of Titans but was pulled for another, unnamed, book. JLAcademy is looking more likely!
Bart, probably, isn't the first Kid Flash but acts like he is the only one that matters.
I think Lobdell is going to write some good books.
Postin this on this page since there is a lot of info here.
The Teen Titans as a bunch of buddies who hang out and do hero stuff together rather than a defined, JLA style team makes sense because a) it's a nice variation and b) it actually is something teenagers would do, as they tend to avoid rules and so on anyway (or at least I know I did).
If I never see a scene of the Titans hanging out in the tower playing video games ever again, I will be happy.

I hate when they have Bart playing video games. Like, yeah I understand he grew up in a virtual reality, but he can't burn through games like that. That's not how it works
I'm down with whatever it takes for Teen Titans to not be one angsty, dramatic, "It's so hard to be the leader" story after another. Lobdell's take on everything sounds great.

I just realized if Bart is from the future still and hopefully XS, that means Barry and Iris have to get together at some point (Barry doesn't seem to be the guy to have a kids out of wedlock), and it hopefully doesn't mean they pull what they did with Carter and Kendra and the whole fighting destiny lovesick thing, which is the part of the Hawkman mythos I could do without.

Yeah, I'm really excited for the Teen Titans/Superboy combo.
Red Hood is not something I plan on reading each month though, although I love hearing that Jason and Roy are now rivals and coming from similar places. That's actually a really great hook, and does get me interested in that book much more than I was before.
but his Generation X, which I have read bits of, was pretty great and he is writing teen/young adult characters
"some bad stuff" is putting it lightly
He represents the absolute nadir of the X-Men. Austen's run is probably uniformly more terrible but the franchise was already shit by the time he came on, Lobdell is largely responsible for that.
Also I've just been through his site and he's got some killer arts, some of it is very reminiscent of a Frank Quitely's stuff. Though I guess that's not a bad thing.
I look forward to the day it's revealed that the new DCU is Hal Jordan's success at recreating the universe with a construct of himself always being the successful hero that saves things, that his best friend is alive again and the one true Flash. That the proper Batgirl is back instead of poor substitutes and hell he did what he said. He got the JSA a world of their own.
There's some interesting stuff in there; Jason and Ronnie being mentored by Ray Palmer, Solaris the Anti-Sun becoming Galaxis the Sentient Galaxy, and some planned character development for Ronnie. But ultimately, the whole thing seems like it would have been way too shackled by the developments of Brightest Day and Blackest Night.

Zero Hour: Reborn? Hmmmmmm.

So Jenkins is writing Dark Knight while Finch stays on art, does that change the pull status of this book. I heard Batman and Detective switched around writers too. Someone tell me aside from B&R what to read.

I normally try to be optimistic about books that haven't come out yet
but I love Hawkman and Daniel hasn't written a single thing I like at all

Unless he uses the Speed Force to speed up games
all he's going to do is wear out the keyboard
I believe in Lobdell
and thus I do not believe in him
He likes everything that I like, and his art is fantastic.
I'm sold on his books now
but his Generation X, which I have read bits of, was pretty great and he is writing teen/young adult characters
he isn't turning Superboy into a robot and making Kid Flash angsty, but he is switching the usual status quo up a bit
plus he really wants to write the Titans like actual teenagers as opposed to what 30-40 year old dudes think teenagers are like
Red Hood is not something I plan on reading each month though, although I love hearing that Jason and Roy are now rivals and coming from similar places. That's actually a really great hook, and does get me interested in that book much more than I was before.

around that time every major marvel comic was terrible, bale
That was the only issue I liked.
ain't never gonna forgive him for Onslaught and Fatal Attractions
He's hilarious on Twitter, too.
If he is, he probably thinks Bo's gay.

dude is a great artist
can't wait to see what he'll do after Batman Inc. His Stormwatch covers are excellent.

Plus, they have seemingly ditched the Brightest Day developments which makes a lot of his pitch unnecessary.
wait a second...
this seems so familia-
oh yeah Young Justice
Because he jokes a lot
But Louie the Lilac might be in Batman: Leviathan
Zero Hour: Reborn? Hmmmmmm.
sounds more like his blueprint than his inspiration.
Not to mention that YJ totally did has a leader, or at least people who thought they were, a hideout and a superhero mentor.
Batman, Batman & Robin, Batgirl, Batwoman, Nightwing, and Red Hood & the Outsiders are the ones I'm most looking forward to
(I'm interested in Batwing, Catwoman, and Birds of Prey as well, but not as much)
Grab Batman. It's the closest thing to a sure bet in the Batman line up before we can actually gauge the quality of the first issues.
Edit: Oh, and Batwoman.
