Saints Row 3 Google ad tells you for 'forget Uncharted 3'
A series of Google advertisements from THQ are suggesting that you forget about the competition and "strap it on" with Saints Row: The Third. When doing Google searches for high profile games such as Uncharted 3, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Battlefield 3 or The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the ad had a chance of sneakily appearing.
"Forget [Whatever game you typed in]. Strap On Saints Row: The Third For The Most Over-The-Top Videogame," read the ad.
It's pretty rude, but THQ has pulled this stunt before. Earlier in the year, it hijacked Google ads in Battlefield 3 searches in order to promote Homefront and call it "The biggest shooter of 2011."
If you have any kind of employment, that's about 8.5 pay cycles.
Doing the math, you need to drop less than $10 a check to have the basic game fully paid off between now and release. Should be easy enough.
Cept I've never actually HAD a job, thus cant get unemployment.
But I dont' want to derail this with anything like that, so I'm not really surprised that THQ is having adds like that for Saints row the third. The did pretty much the same thing with GTA4 when advertising Saint's row 2.

My mind got blown harder finding out that Jin from Lost is Johnny Gat. That's like a Luke Skywalker/The Joker level of character disconnect.
Dude flying through the air in the background makes it. No wait, the dancing ckicks do! No no, it's the Genki mask...... No the Octopus mind-control masks........ I can't decide!
My one complaint I hope they fixed is making the mini-gun an ACTUAL impressive weapon. The early screenshots make it seem a lot beefier, which I hope is the case. In Vice City and SR2, the mini-gun is a joke.

Both the minigun and flamethrower were fixed in the Gentlemen of the Row mod to be the death dealing super weapons they should have been in the first place.
The shame of canceling a preorder for Saint's Row the Third? Yeah, that's a pretty heavy shame.
I've seen shame like that get passed down through generations. His children's children will tell their children about the time great-grand didn't preorder Saint's Row 3, and how it marked their family with shame.
You know what? My birthday is coming up early next month...I was going to buy Alice: Madness returns, but I might just have to put the money down for this.

This. I watched Lost long before I played SR2; no every time I watch Lost I just think he's going to start murdering people at random on the island.
