I don't know why it looks like I'm firing through an impenetrable curtain of nova gas; it wasn't there at all during the game. I'm guessing something happened during the rendering. You can see it was a clear shot when I flip the camera angle around. The best part of the clip, for me, is that the last guy in the quad dashboards immediately after he dies -- you can see it on the killfeed, lol.
So with the CoD Expo thingy going on. Any news on how multiplayer on PC will work with dedicated servers and all. Most importantly, can me and my friends join as a party and actually play togheter and not get end up on opposing teams all the friggin time like in BLOPS.

Yeah I had to venture forth from SE to seek help in my zombie killing escapades. Random groups on LIVE have been letting me down so hard and it seems the easter egg won't work in split screen.
I'm pretty much down for any time today (12+ hours as of this post) if anyone wants to try with me. I'll be with a friend playing split-screen so we'd need two more. You can send me a friend request on xbox or send me a message on this (which I will probably notice sooner since I won't be on my xbox).

So, I haven't really played a Call of Duty game since MW2, but these pointstreaks and other news about the game are kinda getting me hyped. That and the origin mess with EA is kind've making me look at BF3 differently. I really had no intention of getting hyped for another MW game either...
Apparently at some point in Black Ops development, bleeding out or triggering your own respawn in Second Chance did in fact have your character blow his own brains out. Huh.
Ugh. After five hours of zombieing on the moon, amidst disconnects, shit from the mystery box, and wrong tunnel excavation I discovered something: Having the golden rod doesn't actually mean you can finish the Big Bang Theory achievement! I haven't done the Call of the Dead or Shangri-La achievements, but for whatever reason I was Richtofen with the Rod. And it didn't let me put it into the stupid plates. To make it more sad for me, everyone else but me got the One Giant Leap achievement even though there were no excavators down at the time, because I beat the last wave after everyone died from the misery of not being able to complete Big Bang Theory. The one glitch that works out well benefits everyone but me.
So, um, I guess if there is anyone out there who has done both Call of the Dead and Shangri-La easter eggs (I know there is some conflicting evidence about what is required, but I don't want to take chances after spending so much time today) and wants to do the last one with someone who knows all the steps, let me know. The only overpowered killstreak will be the one with the perk bonus. Does it reset after one death? Then I would call it balanced if it does, if not then, I dont see a point in running something else. The support killstreak is able to give even the bad-at-killing-fools players some good tools work with, someone mentioned the SR-71, I think this is a great idea to move away from the killing= profit system we been using. The guns look fun to use and I hope the shotguns are back up to par, instead of being the butchered sackless things they are now.
I like the progression system they are using(or what I think they are doing), by letting you unlock weapon upgrades via time spent using the gun, instead of some bullshit FMJ challenge. Also the javelin looks like it locks on faster, plus points for that, since it can actually be a viable weapon to use now. I still gotta see more before I can totally get a boner off this, I really want them to just lay it all out and let me gobble up all the info. If anything, i'm gonna really enjoy spec ops and if MP is letting me down I can just jump on there and fill more bars. Bascially i'm getting this, no point in trying to fool myself saying i'm gonna go on CoD strike, gonna get it day one and enjoy the fuck out of it. I'm also getting BF3(hopefully for PC) since you know, you can get BOTH games and one is pretty diffrent from another in terms of style. Also getting BF3 for the 360 is a god damn waste FYI, you can't even use fucking jets, what's the point?

The Assault package is a more traditional Call of Duty style of kills and streaks, whereas Support gets more points from objectives and keeps those points even after dying. Specialists don't have traditional streaks to choose from, but instead get additional perks. They go back to square one if they die, however.

yeah i mean, the specialist thing is interesting for sure, but it just honestly doesnt seem that useful unless you like staying alive a really long time. part of the fun for me is getting killstreaks. once i get my 3rd one, i just play super aggressive because i dont mind if i die (the exception being if my team is losing a close game in dom or something).
Obviously hen it happened, and when I made the clip, it didn't say "Defend" above the enemy I threw my tommahax at. But you could see the flag bobbing up and down slightly

Actually, in all seriousness, I'm struggling with whether to put down for the Hardened. A year of Elite is mighty tempting but only if we end up still playing the game in six months. Once your Elite expires, do you lose the maps?
