Tac Mask Pro is great because shrugging off secondary grenades and killing a dude who thinks he's got you is the best thing.

And people who got the pro variant of Marathon and still had plans to prestige brought that pain upon themselves.

Playing defense on CTF is pretty satisfying, especially when they didn't expect any opposition.

The only satisfying part of CTF ever is when you 6-0 the enemy team in three minutes, three matches in a row, and get the fuck out with your pro'd perk.

Pubs tend to just run out and do their own thing. Rarely do I see any of them stay behind to guard their flag. Playing CTF with you guys to get Marathon Pro was actually a pretty easy process, since their base was almost always undefended.

I don't know, killing multiple dudes who don't have an inkling of how to deal with people playing defense is kinda like a modern day Duck Hunt.

This has pretty much all the info we need for hyping.

Also, come the fuck on. Hallow Points? How the fucking shit do you not know what a hollow point is. Seems like Stopping Power is a 5 death-streak.

Me and the KSG are going to make some friends.

that doesnt make sense. there would be no benefit to playing specialist if that were the case. you start with your 3 perks, unlock one more at 2 kills, another at 4, another at 6, and then at 8 you get every perk (except overkill if you didnt already have that equipped).

im thinkin Sleight of Hand/Quickdraw/Dead Silence all day, maybe throw on steady aim for an LMG class. then if course the assassin class for AA.

The lighting looks a lot better and like I may have an easier time actually spotting people than I do in MW2. I still can't tell if weapons are attached to levels or if you just buy them.
I'm also picking Revenge as my death streak, and I hope putting someone into final stand counts as a kill like BlOps.

The monthly DLC cycle annoys me a little bit, though, and if you pre-order Elite you get all kinds of extra content, too. I might end up trying to figure a way to get the Hardened Edition and just cancel a pre-order for game or two in November until later.

Outside of spec ops, I can't tell you the last time I went prone in MW2/Black Ops.

I do it every single time I capture whatever objective's closest to my starting position. I think that's genuinely the only time anyone ever does it, though. Oh, and I do them at the end of games, too, because I try to get funny kill cams. But, yeah. It's really not that useful.

Edit: Wait, I'm talking about Dolphin Diving. You never go prone? Yeah? Dude, I prone constantly, lol.

    GAME OF THE YEAR

Under Assault you control one and it drops care packages as you fly it. Under Support you just call it in, it drops care packages and then defends them.

So...I guess I kind of understand how it.

Assault is traditional MW2 style in that the KSes are chainable allowing you to obtain them in quick succession.

Support doesn't have many offensive KSes for chaining(not even sure if they can chain) but their chain doesn't go away, they also have higher point thresholds than Assault or Specialist because of this.

Specialist doesn't get their perks until 2 kills then they start at 4(if that video is correct)? They can access every perk but they have no offense/support and they have to start all over once they die.

Hmm...when I actually look at it this way I kind of like it. I still think Specialist will be crazy, but I like most of the packages so I guess that is a good thing.

One thing I'm not sure about is how many care packages there seems like there will be. I've never been a fan of sitting around and waiting for a package to drop.

Huh, Amazon just gave me a bunch of promotional credit. I may as well use that to get the Hardened Edition. Hooray.

They don't have a release-date delivery option for it yet, though, which I hope they'll add soon.
