My niece is 2 1/2 and isn't a big pony fan, she prefers Phineas and Ferb which is fine by me because P&F is totally awesome. Anyway she's only 2 1/2 so it's not like I can get a good reason out of her why she likes one better than the other just yet.

A week or two ago, my 5-year-old niece said that she wants to be Fluttershy. When my brother asked her why, she said, "Because I'm shy."
Two of my nieces (ages 4 and 8) both say that their favorite pony is Fluttershy. Their reason is because she is the cutest pony.
Fluttershy's cuteness/moe fits well into their target demographic.

I bought that same toy set (only MLP thing I've purchased), though all they asked me is if I wanted a gift receipt.
The only problem with that comic is that we didn't get to see him draw a pony in his own style (I love his art, easily one of my favorite comics).
Fun fact, the author of that comic is the reason I got interested in MLP in the first place (he tweeted about it, I checked it out, and the rest is history).
Ponies go with everything. No exceptions.
It's only Tuesday, but this and Pony Bebop have made my week. Gonna write a little script to play them at 07:00 every day. Inception alarm can go to hell.

This video is my new favorite thing ever, and I don't even really consider myself a brony; just a dude with a daughter that watches cartoons.
Also, the post above mine needs to spoiler or something, 'cuz damn, that image is fatter than a DJ-P0n3 beat.

Anyone ever draw the new characters in the G1 style?
I've seen 'realistic' ponies and ones that are generally less stylized/cat-like, but nobody actually aiming for the classic 'sometimes kind of like a mopey hippo' look.
Girlfriend and I are arguing about MLP. She's disgusted with the new series. Says the pony designs are hurtful. She admits it's a nostalgia thing, but she's annoyed that I watch it and like it and don't care about her old ponies or that she doesn't like the new show.
TL;DR Girl sees new ponies as an affront to God and the 80s. Should I prepare the orbital friendship cannon? y/n?

It'd need Spike drawn as Freddie (obvious reason: mustache) for it to be Cromartie High. I kinda want to see this done.
This is, objectively, the best thing to ever grace the youtubes.

This is really the only detail I saw they missed...simply amazing.
Y'know, violently converting or killing those who don't love Celestia and trying reclaim the Everfree Forest.
When Nic Cage and Ron Pearlman are cast as their voice actors.

I'm guessing Earth Ponies will be power fighters, heavy hits, limited range.
Pegasi will be hella fast, light damage, and can fly.
And Unicorns will have projectiles, deal medium damage?
Or, dare I hope for a vast and varied style for each individual character?
Dare I?
Sabre, I'm asking you if I dare that!?

Madness
That is because the G1 pony design is awful.
